I would like to provide feedback regarding our recent check-in experience. Upon arrival, we found it difficult to locate the entrance, as it was not on Currie Street as we had expected. Additionally, there was no customer parking available near the entrance.
The staff member on duty was aware that we were waiting to check in, but instead of assisting us immediately, we were left waiting while he disposed of rubbish bags. When I asked where we could park the car, he instructed us to temporarily park in the middle of the road near the entrance to unload our luggage. He then handed us a map and directed us to another car park, a process that took over half an hour to complete.
This was an exhausting process, and when I expressed my frustration, the staff member criticized me, suggesting that I was not appreciative of his help with our luggage. I found this response unprofessional and disappointing, especially after such a tiring arrival.
I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.
