Family getaway stop
We love the neighborhood! Very quiet and relaxing. The location is perfect. The house is close great places to eat, 3 minutes from airport and amazing beaches. The host was very responsive when we had a misunderstanding with the parking space. The property was very clean. We all enjoyed our short stay and are looking forward to return since the house will be including in the near future a very nice pool area.

First impression was great exactly as pictured. Air conditioners works great. Comfortable beds and good decor. I was a bit disappointed that the pool is still under construction. I would have given the property 5/5 if the stove top and shower head had a bit more attention. I really liked the property and the location is great.

Lovely home
The home is lovely and we absolutely loved the outdoor space. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. There were issues checking in and the home was not cleaned after the previous guests. Jo Ann looked into the mixup and corrected the situation but we weren’t able to return to the home until around 9pm.

The house and stay were lovely.
The house was beautifully decorated and homey. It had all of the small appliances we needed including a magic bullet, which was great for smoothies. The back deck was so relaxing and we spent our evenings and mornings out there. The neighborhood was nice, we walked around a few times. It was a great location. The host was responsive and helpful. We would stay here again if we come back to Aguidilla.

Great space - misleading location
The space itself is great, well maintained, and Jo Ann was very kind and communicative prior to and during our stay. The space was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed and more. That said, the VRBO is nowhere near where it seems on the map (as of the time of this review - 3/23/2022). We were looking forward to being within Aguadilla Pueblo and being able to walk to and around the town. In truth, the place is about a 20 minute drive north, just north of the Aguadilla Airport. While the neighborhood is quiet and safe, it is not what we were expecting or anticipating. You will definitely need a car to get around to the main beaches and tourist areas. Given VRBO's policy of informing lodgers of the exact location only a few days prior to the actual stay, we found this out with only 72 hours before we were due to arrive. With that short time frame, there was not enough time to find alternative lodging and once we arrived, we wanted to enjoy our vacation and not have to deal with logistics or complaining to VRBO. So we did not do so until after we returned from our trip. While I was sorely disappointed with VRBO's response and the way they seemed to wash their hands of it - blaming the host, even though they claim to verify that the listing matches the general area of where it's actually located- I want to be clear that the apartment itself is great and if the location (just north of the airport) is where you want to be, then this is a wonderful vacation rental. But if you are expecting to actually be in the town of Aguadilla (as we were), you should look for a different option.

Overall everything about Casamiguel was very good except that there was no privacy - you can see right through the windows. The window treatments were not appropriate for glass windows, which was a big issue for us.

Excellent spot for a getaway!
The property was exactly as listed. It did get a little hot in the house, as the AC is only in the bedrooms, but there were fans available. The best part about this listing is the quick responsiveness of the owner/property manager. Highly recommend.

Cute and Cozy location!
The location was exactly as it was marketed. Love the sound of the coqui's at night. Host guided me right to the front door as waze was acting very funky. Only suggestion I have, Is providing the guests with wash rags, which I left a few behind. Rather than the small bar of soaps, installing a soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser, it will be less costly. Also, atleast a roll of papertowel, the one there only had about 3 sheets left. Will for sure return on my next trip to Aguadilla.
