Take a walk or bike ride in the Haut-Languedoc Natural Park, organise a picnic on the sandy beaches of Gruissan or Valras (less than an hour's drive away) or entertain yourself during an afternoon shopping in Montpellier, Narbonne (20 km), Béziers (30 km) or Agde. The village of Aigues-Vives is home to authentic houses and it is surrounded by a picturesque landscape that you can explore via the beautiful hiking trails that run through it. Moreover, you will find a playground, a bowling alley and a tennis court.

Het huis is goed verzorgt en proper, de bedden zijn opgemaakt met proper beddengoed. Alles is aanwezig in de keuken om te koken en te eten (potten/pannen/vergiet/servies en bestek). De oven was bij aankomst heel vuil, die hebben we dus niet gebruikt. De rest van de keuken en apparatuur (koffiezet/microgolf en broodrooster waren proper). Het regende bij aankomst waardoor het zwembad niet proper was (bladeren + zand). In de infomap staat dat de onderhoudsman voor het zwembad op woensdag langs komt maar, hij komt op donderdag... dus hebben we hem de eerste week niet gezien. De eerste donderdag van ons 2 weken durende verblijf is het zwembad niet gestofzuigd geweest, de week nadien wel. Heel jammer voor ons, we hebben dus bijna 2 weken een zwembad met heel veel zand op de bodem gehad. Het zou handig zijn om een zwembadrobot te voorzien voor de gasten. In het algemeen een heel leuke vakantie gehad. Ik raad het huis met zwembad aan voor iedereen. De afstand tot de stranden en stadjes is ongeveer 45 minuten en tot de supermarkt 20 minuten, dat is soms wel ver.
