The Space:
Bush Retreat 1 by Tiny Away is a secluded retreat in West Alberton, Victoria. Port Albert, Wilsons Prom Hike, and Toms Cap Vineyard are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).
IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to inform guests that there may be occasional farm vehicles passing by during their stay with us, as we are a working farm with animals and crops. For a restful farm stay, we recommend bringing earplugs.
If you're booking for a group, we also have a second tiny home,"Bush Retreat 2," located 80 meters away, available with 24 hours' notice.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including our acre garden.

Getting Around:
By car: 13 kms from Yarram and a 2 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne
By public transport: Train to Traralgon
Bus to Yarram
V/Line bus from Southern Cross railway station.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Outdoor fire is available for guests to use
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please do not enter animal paddocks with cattle in them as they may easily be frightened
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Please be advised that we have livestock and occasional farm vehicles that may drive past during your stay with us as we are a working farm that cares for animals and crops. Thus, Not a Safe Environment for Young Children.
Important note:
- Please follow the safety precautions recommended by the land host at the farm
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
