Just what we needed
We came to Albuquerque for my mom's funeral and needed a place for our family of 5 to stay, as well as one of my brothers and his wife and two boys. This house was in the perfect location, as much of our plans were in the East Mountains. Our only complaints about the property were that there wasn't enough seating for indoor meals. It was a bit cold and windy while were there and four chairs at the kitchen table made us have to play musical chairs for eating breakfast. The main living area off the kitchen only has a 3 seater couch, so that also made it a little difficult to gather. It was difficupt for my husband to up and down the stairs so gathering in the lower level wasn't an option. The worst thing about the house is that the floors were pretty dirty. We typically don't wear shoes in the house, and we weren't able to go shoeless. Also, no one could really sit on the living room floor because of it.The linens on the beds were all super lightweight. We ended up having to buy extra blankets for our stay because it basically felt like we had only a sheet on us at night.Other than that, we were pleased by the atmosphere of the home. Having seen others say there weren't enough towels, we brought extra of our own, but there were plenty. We were grateful for the electric kettle as several of us had bad coughs while we were there, and needed to make tea. We appreciated all.of the other appliances made available to us, though we only used the stove, the Keurig, and toaster.
