Captivating chalet near Amsterdam

This detached, single-storey chalet is located in the green holiday park Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos, on the southern edge of the Amsterdamse Bos. In the middle of nature and yet only half an hour away from the bustling centre of the capital Amsterdam. The chalet is furnished in a simple, practical but nice way. In the living room, you will find a TV and a dining area. The simple kitchenette includes a refrigerator and coffee maker. There are three bedrooms, one with two single beds (possibly in a double setup) and two rooms with a bunk bed each. In the bathroom, you will find a shower and toilet Outside you have a terrace with garden furniture. There is parking for one car near the chalet. At Resort Het Amsterdamse Bos, various chalets and safari tents can be booked for two to seven people.
Type homes are divided into categories. Because these are private properties, they were decorated according to the owner’s personal taste and surface area, furnishing and size may vary – the level of comfort is as described, however. The arrangement of beds (sleeping places, separate beds or double beds) depends on the owner and cannot be determined beforehand. Great Campground Experience
The campground is near the bus line. We were happily surprised by our Bungalow. There were 2 rooms with bunkbeds and 1 room with 2 single beds. A stovetop and refrigerator are in the kitchen. It was so very nice to have our own bathroom at a campground! Only 1 toilet paper roll is provided. The camp store sells 4 rolls for 4 euros. The towels are rented at $7 for 2 towels. Upon arrival, the shower drain wasn’t doing its job. Once mentioned to the office, someone came within the hour to fix it. The office doesn’t open until 9AM which is an inconvenience if you want to get an early start to the day. We think there are only 3 washers for the whole campground. It is $4.50/load. There was a drying rack at the cabin as well as a picnic table. It is mostly quiet after dark, but 1 night we couldn’t open the window because of noise.

Towels and Bike Rentals
The walls and ceiling had dirty smudge marks, it was not clean enough. The towel package was stingy, at another europarc in velsun suid we received two bath towels plus hand towel for same price as your one bath towel and one hand towel. Also at that previous stay, bicycles were rented by the day, not 5 days at a time, which would be fairer to allow all to have access; some sat in storage shed unmoved for two days, wasted use.

y family and I enjoyed the stay and also the environment was great, we really like the chalet in the middle of the forest and also the facilities, It was a very good experience for all of us.

1/Nous sommes arrivés à 17h et la reception était fermée alors que le site indique que les arrivées se font "à partir" de 16h. Aucun message sur la procédure de récupération des clefs. Appel sur le centre d'appel du gestionnaire (très aimable) pour savoir comment faire. 2/Impossible d'ouvrir la barrière avec le code fourni. A nouveau 2 appels successifs au centre d'appel du gestionnaire : aucun de nos interlocuteurs ne sont parvenus à ouvrir la barrière à distance. Dechargement de la voiture sur le parking extérieur. 3/Mobil-home propre mais très peu équipé : pas de placard pour ranger les vêtements, pas de micro-ondes, aucun meuble ou tablette dans la salle de bain etc ... 4/Emplacement très loin d'Amsterdam : impossible de s'y rendre sans prendre la voiture.

We enjoyed our stay. No a/c made it pretty uncomfortable at night but otherwise it was fine. Also, don't expect much from the "camp store".

Die absolute Katastrophe
Wenn es minus Punkte geben würde, würde ich diese vergeben. Beim duschen nur höchstens lauwarmes Wasser, das eine Etagenbett defekt und die Lampe im anderen Schlafzimmer musste erst repariert werden. Der gesamte Bungalow sehr unsauber. Zudem gibt es keine Schränke zur Aufbewahrung der Sachen. In jedem Zimmer nur zwei Hagen und ein Nachtschränkchen. Keine Ablageflächen im Bad, sondern ebenfalls nur 6 Hagen. Für ein oder zwei Nächte ok aber zu mehr ist die Unterkunft nicht zu nutzen. Zudem fehlt es an Geschirr und Besteck für 6 Personen.
