Super friendly staff. I left something behind and they mailed it to me in the UK. I was in rom 10 that is very quiet just how I like it but the very steep staircase might be a challenge for some.

Perfect for a quick trip
Overall, a good experience. Checking in/out was quick and easy. Room was a good size for no more than two people. Bathroom was very small and not very private. No shower door or curtain to keep the water in. Stayed warm in the fall/winter month. Great location, close to train station and trams.

Great little spot in Amsterdam near canals, shopping, museums. Walk to train station. The standard room is small, but so is everything in this city. Beautiful, simple styling, high quality fittings. Best mattress of our Europe tour! Narrow winding staircase as expected. Lack of front desk might become an issue but didn’t come up for us.

We had a wonderful break for 4 days at Callisto Hotel. Steep steps to room were no problem as our bags were carried for us at all times. The room was clean and bright due to the care of our wonderful cleaning lady. The boys in the restaurant downstairs were polite helpful and made sure we had a great experience.

I loved Hotel Calisto! My room was at the very top of the house, up a steep staircase (so if you find it hard to walk it’s not for you) with a view over one of the coolest roads in Amsterdam - Haarlemmerdijk. There are loads of cool vintage shops and the restaurant downstairs was delicious. My room was clean and cosy, and the price was so reasonable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great short stay and the service perfection. I do not recommend if you have trouble climbing stairs that's narrow. Overall, I would be back in this hotel again in the future.

Good property and easy communication but no one there on site. - bathroom very small and bedroom very loud with lots of noise coming from the street late in the night and early in the morning. No fan or A/C on a particularly hot few days made it quite sweaty in the room.
