Our stay was completely ruined by the hotel's poor soundproofing and unprofessional handling of complaints. Starting at 7 PM, the child in the room above us was running and screaming nonstop, and the constant thudding made it impossible to relax. We put up with it for 30 minutes before going to the front desk. A staff member came to our room, heard the noise firsthand, called it "ridiculous," and assured us they would speak to the guests upstairs and let us know the outcome. But we never heard back, and the noise continued. By 8:30 PM, we had to call the front desk again, saying that if it wasn’t resolved soon, we’d have to involve the authorities. They promised to send someone up again, but it wasn’t until 9:30 PM that the noise finally stopped. The slow response, lack of communication, and overall unprofessionalism were unacceptable. For a hotel, soundproofing and proper handling of guest complaints should be basic standards. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you value peace and good service.

One week stay and not once did they come and clean the room. I asked the front desk on two separate occasions for someone to clean our room and still no one came. No coffe cups, no clean towels just awful. Will not stay at this hotel ever again!

We chose this hotel because of the name " HYATT " but boy was I wrong. We stayed for 6 days and not one single day was our room cleaned. I asked on 3 separate occasion for some one to clean our room and provide us with coffee, cups etc... NO ONE clean our room in 6 days. We had to put our trash outside the room and by the looks of it we were not the only ones having this problem. We were given a room on the first floor and it sounded as if there was a dance studio right above our room. I Will never stay at this hotel again!!!

Was a nice spot for our long hockey weekend over Thanksgiving. The staff were wonderful to work with and allowed us to set up a Thanksgiving team dinner in the common area.

Great stay at Hyatt Place Anchorage Ak
The breakfast was good with a lot of variety and fresh fruits every day in addition to old fashioned oatmeal, yogurt, berries, eggs and bacon or sausage. I want to highlight that the van driver, Ron, came over and helped us load some heavy luggage that we were struggling to fit into our personal car. He was so kind and helpful.

Very quiet, comfortable stay. Overall, staff is friendly, although several are still masking which sends the message that they are afraid of customers. Other than the few staff still experiencing covid psychosis the stay was great!

My favorite things was having laundry facilities on premises, which was super helpful. However, there was no detergent available so had to instacart some to the room, so that was unfortunate. There were few dining options, but that's ok, we ate outside anyway. It was a fine middle of the road hotel. Clean and convenient, but not fancy.
