Girdwood on pieni yhteisö 30 meripeninkulmaa etelään Anchorage. Home Mt. Alyeska ja Alyeska Resort, Girdwood on täydellinen paikka viettää Alaskan pako. Girdwood Valley Guest House lepää puiden yksityisyyttä, mutta tarpeeksi lähellä kaikkia palveluita. Talo sisältää yli 3950 s. f. oleskelutilassa, useita kansia, ja kylpytynnyri. Bedrooms are good size, extra tables available to seat large family. Good amenities with pool table, second living room & hot tub for teens. Beautiful view of Chugach mountains! Road is steep, but passable w/ 4wheel drive.

Winter wonderland in Girdwood!!
Our third trip to Girdwood and it was as magical as ever. The two new rooms in the house, the views, the new hot tub, and the game room are just amazing. Our kids are of different ages, pre-teen and teen and they were never bored. From the pool table to cards and other amenities, it was a great stay. We are planning a return trip this summer. Miss Girdwood already! Highly recommend this incredible house!

We enjoyed a visit with a group of family members for a wedding in girdwood. The house had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for 12 adults to relax and enjoy the surrounding area and the views did not disappoint.

Relaxing and invigorating
Thanks for letting us use your great house for our Cook Inlet fishing trip. House was even better than last time. Love the game room and new hot tub for relaxing after a long day on the water. Coffee and breakfast on the deck is to die for. We will definitely return.

We chose this property based on location, as it is just south of Anchorage, and closer to the Kenai, Seward area. The location felt isolated and remote, (desired) but was very convenient for our itinerary. The house was very clean and spacious. Highly recommend this property!

Favorite place to stay in Girdwood
We've stayed here before. Somehow even nicer than last time. The new hot tub was great and there are even two more rooms now. Will be back for the ski season with friends, highly recommend. Great place for couples (us) and groups of friends (also us).

Fabulous house, a little removed
Our family of five (including one grandparent, and two kids) stayed with another family of four, and this house was PERFECT! The house has everything you need - comfortable beds, great sheets, stocked kitchen, BBQ, it's all there! Only thing to understand is the location, it's only a mile to the center of Girdwood. We were hoping to ride bikes into town, and a mile would have been fine, but it's steep =) I didn't translate the snow removal comments into that. This is a great place to stay, but you will need to drive into town. Highly recommend!

Great location with EVERYTHING you could possibly need - lots of towels, all kitchen appliances & dishes, plenty of space for a large group to spread out. We enjoyed the views, the hot tub and the pool table.

Great Location
The views from the house are amazing. The Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. We had three family with us and the three levels made the stay enjoyable for all the members of the families. We only had one hiccup and that was we did not know how to take out the trash. We contact the owner and he had it taken care of right away. Overall, it was a great visit, the host was great and we would stay there again.

Great fishing and touristy stay
Some friends and I rented this house for our stay. We were able to use it as our base for doing some fishing down the peninsula and just being a tourist. Great place to relax, enjoy Girdwood and cook. Beautiful house, we will definitely be back. Thanks

Don’t rec for winter unless have vehicle with spikes
The house was nice and it’s close to the ski slopes. Property manager was great! However, it is located high up in the neighborhood and the road wasn’t maintained during our entire stay. We were unable to drive up to the house and had to park in neighbors drive and walk up the road to the house for 3 of our 4 night stay. We did speak with the owner regarding this who confirmed it’s supposed to be plowed and graveled each day and he would call to make sure it was done. It never was. We also sustained damage to vehicle due to the unmaintained road. All and all, way too much stress for what it was worth and what we payed. I did request a partial refund due to being unable to access the house except by foot and the owner declined as “he doesn’t control the roads”. So if you stay here in winter, make sure you have a vehicle that can drive on steep, icy, unmaintained roads.

Clean, big and beautiful. We had a wonderful time! Kitchen stocked well with extra items like a crockpot and griddle. Make sure you have 4-wheel drive during the winter months.

Perfect for a multi-family getaway!
We had a blast staying at the Girdwood Getaway! It is tucked away from the action of the ski hill, but is close enough for easy access. The home had everything we needed for our stay, and the kids loved the games room. The big surprise was the luxurious ensuite off the Master Bedroom! Highly recommended as a place to unwind!
