Fall hauskaa matkustamossa! Kätevä Lake Keowee ja Clemson

Mökki loma ulkona takka ja sisätiloissa kaasu takka. Kaunis puinen vuorattu mökki, josta on upeat näkymät kaikilla tasoilla Keowee-järvelle ja ympäröiville vuorille. 20 minuutin päässä Clemsonin kampuksella. Kolme kerrosta - pohjakerroksen pelihuone ja TV-keskus; pääkerroksen keittiö, kansi, takka ja 2 makuuhuonetta; Yläkerran päämakuuhuone ja sohva (nukkuu 2). Kansi seulotaan sisään, pöydät ja tuolit ruokailla tai vain viettää aikaa. Pesukone ja kuivaaja käytettävissä. Mökki sijaitsee erittäin hiljaisella kadulla, viiden minuutin päässä pääostosalueelta. Järvelle pääsee muutamassa minuutissa useissa paikoissa. Varaa kodikas loma nyt!
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Lake Keowee. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi kuntosalin ja pelihallin/-huoneen. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön muun muassa ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Our stay was around when Helene Hurricane came through, Sept 27, 2024. The power was out so the cleaning person wasn't able to finish their task prior to our check in. However, there were clean linens and towels in the basement next to the washing machine. We also had trash bags, clean dishes and running water but no power. The cabin was nicely located in Seneca which wasn't far from the university. The cabin was also easy to find.

The property was well located for a Clemson game stay. It doesn't have the best layout on the main floor for a group as it really only seats two people in the comfortable chairs and the TV is small. The downstairs has a larger hangout space, but we could never get the TV system to work, and it was much colder. Overall, it was a good place to stay but could have been more comfortable for a group. Parking was also a little tricky since you couldn't block the driveway next door.

Clemson Graduation Weekend
The house was filthy. The coffee maker was full of mold. There were dead cockroaches on the floor. There was hair everywhere. The fitted sheet for one of the bunk beds didn't fit. Overall, very disappointing!

Owners were in general quick to respond. The oven and range are substandard. Sleepless nights due to cabin creaking. Numerous cockroaches. Extremely small shower. Kitchen too small for a long term rental. Living room furniture needs to be replaced.

Would definitely book again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While the weather was not in our favor, we enjoyed every minute during our stay. We enjoyed many hours of family time playing cards, board games or just relaxing. Very quiet and tranquil surroundings. Best part…we were able to bring along our 4-legged friends. We would definitely book again!!

Peaceful place
As City folk, it was weird at first how dark and quiet this home was at night but everyone should experience this kind of calm. The owners are fantastic and everyone was so friendly in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place.

Good location but had some issues
The cabin is very cute and cozy. But the downstairs shower did not work (had to use bath only) the coffee maker didn’t work, beds were not made so we had to make them when we got there. Also had issues with washing machine. It is in a great location and we’d like to stay there again! Hopefully issues will be fixed for the next guests!

Great cabin that had all we needed and the perfect location for the boating we were doing. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Will definitely be coming back!

Location Good, But Issues with House
The location of this property was great, but we had a few issues. First of all, the screened in porch was covered in dead bees. Also, the house could really use a deep cleaning. There was dog hair and heavy amounts of dust around the furniture and corners. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty upon our arrival. Overgrown plants covered the walkway and a few of the outdoor steps felt like they were rotting. Overall, we enjoyed the area, but we would stay in a different property.

Nice short stay
I have stayed here twice in past 2 years while in Clemson for games or other events. Close to campus, quiet, and sleeps 6 comfortably. Owner had prompt communication, accurate listing, and easy-to-follow expectations and directions. Would definitely stay again when visiting Clemson!

This was a great place to spend with family. The owners had games, videos and a beautiful rec room. Many card games around the kitchen table. Very relaxing place... log cabin. We loved staying there. Owners very responsive and wonderful to work with!

Cozy and well equipped!
The pictures don't do this little cabin justice. It is super roomy and well lit. It was clean and well taken care off. The view is beautiful and we didn't hear any neighbors at all. What I really appreciated was the kitchen, there are plenty of dishes to hold a family over for more than a day without having to constantly wash dishes or run the dishwasher. The family room is stocked with board games and card games as well as DVD's for a night in. Owners were amazingly quick to answer any of our questions. We highly recommend this little treasure.

Nice Cabin, close to different attactions
The cabin is in good shape. It looks better in photo but very comfortable. The bonfire is a plus. There is not much to do walking distance but 25-45 min away of different waterfalls. Would be nice to have at least shampoo in the bathrooms.

Thanksgiving getaway with the family
This is our fourth time using Homeaway, and have never had a bad experience. The cabin was nicely decorated and the owners did a good job at keeping it clean. It was myself, wife, two adult age kids and two dogs. We lots of luggage and gear to unload and was a bit tough going up the path to the stairs, but it's a cabin in a rural area so it was expected. There was deer in the morning at the top of the hill one morning when taking the dogs out. Restaurants and activities are close by, yet far enough to be a quiet relaxing stay. Plenty of room downstairs, which we didn't use because of the dogs. Had an issue that I couldn't figure out that the owners took care of immediately. Great experience and stay.

Cute, very well furnished, clean.
Enjoyed our stay. Lots of room and furnished with everything we needed. Somewhere I missed that it was two stories with a basement. The master is on the second floor with a good while flight of stairs. My husband had recent surgery and was unable to carry suitcases. We probably would not have chosen a two-story cabin. Also none of the beds were made up when we got there . The sheets were laying on the beds. That was a bedtime suprise, Especially the top bunk and bottom bunk for grandsons. All in all was a nice place to stay.

very enjoyable
We stayed for 6 weeks in the Kraus cabin and it was delightful. the views from the loft we're just lovely and everything about the cabin fit our needs. The location was perfect, close to town, the lake, parks and hiking. The cabin is located right next to the common area for the neighborhood and since we brought our dog, it was so convenient for exercising and pottying her. The cabin had everything we needed ( including a large dog crate) and the gas fireplace was a delight on the cold days. The Kraus' were available for any questions we had. We would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.

Cabin in Woods
We had a great family vacation at this cabin in Seneca. There was an ample amount of choices to choose from for food an activity. We enjoyed our time and loved experiencing this new location. Beautiful waterfalls to visit. We did not give this cabin 5 stars due to the ghost like footsteps heard constantly throughout the cabin. There was a lot of banging and what sounded like steps in rooms where no one was in and it gave us a couple of stressful times. Overall, the cabin was great! But beware of hearing things in the rooms.
