The houseboat, stands in the tidal waters of Fresh Creek, Andros, its an rejuvenating place to spend a vacation, a little gem set in a natural aquarium. The ocean flows under and all around you, marine life swims right by, you'll enjoy a swim or snorkel, fishing and star gazing while relaxing in this remote spot.
This unique wooden two storey houseboat has three air conditioned en suite bedrooms, with two upstairs and a king sized en suite studio bedroom downstairs, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, breakfast bar, plus a dining and social area. The houseboat has decks on three sides so you can always find a spot to fish and bathe in the sun or the shade.
Andros is famous for being off the beaten track, here the Eco tourist can enjoy the fishing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, hiking, kayaking and beaching.
The houseboat is located on the bone fishing flats of Fresh Creek, you'll be able to wade for miles and fly fish to your heart's content, or enjoy just sitting on the houseboat deck and throwing in your line, bringing in your catch and popping it in the frying pan!
Andros is famous for scuba diving and snorkeling, the third largest barrier reef in the world lies just a mile off the eastern shoreline, here we have shallow reefs, caves, caverns, wrecks, a shark dive and an awesome wall dive where you can plunge to 185 feet. Our favorite day includes a snorkel in Fresh Creek, if you watch the tides you could ride along with them as the water floods through the creek you will be swept along!
The blue holes of Andros are a must to visit, they are fresh water holes where swimming is a treat and are found deep in the heart of the island in The Blue Holes National Park.
Birders delight in the wildlife experience that Andros has to offer, this island is a destination of choice for North American migratory birds, and our island birds are impressive too.
The island of Andros has at least a hundred miles of unspoiled deserted beaches, I know you'll find your favorite spot.
If you would like to explore the island a rental car can be arranged to meet you on arrival or picked up mid stay.
Kayaks are also here to explore the creek.
Andros is great for walkers, you'll enjoy great hikes through the island and along the deserted beaches.
The whole houseboat will be yours to enjoy.
