This property is in a redeveloping area of town, there are no scenic views. The home is relatively new and well furnished. The property owner provides a clean space which is well stocked and comfortable. You will need a vehicle to get most places, though it seems safe enough to walk in the general area. We thought the rent was a bit high for the market. There were several maintenance items that need attending to, such as the fireplace is not working (the remote control needed new batteries, which we replaced, but it gives off a very strong gas smell, so we turned it off) various loose door handles, poor shower heads and low water pressure. The original construction is poor quality, in that there is not a properly aligned cabinet door in the place, and lots of caulk used in everyway possible to mask poor carpentry, tile, and paint finishes. This detracts from the tasteful choices of finishes and furniture. When the garage doors are raised or lowered in this or adjoining units, a lot of shaking, vibrations and noise result. I don’t think the owner/operator has been in the unit for some time, as some of the issues would be easily identified. Given all this, I would rent it again, but ask for an adjustment of the price.
