Charming industrial style hotel in the middle of downtown Asheville. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Downstairs offered a bar and entertainment such as a bowling lane, arcade style games, and shuffle board table (legs were broken so it was uneven and difficult to play). 2 star rating for cleanliness of the downstairs bar area. Bartender was rude, difficult to get service, and tables were never cleared. We had to clear 15 glasses from a table ourselves.

Great stay at this hotel. Disappointed that two of the three restaurants were closed for private party rentals so we couldn’t experience. Convenient to all downtown shops and restaurants.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! We went for a parents’ getaway and were so happy with our choice to stay here. It’s a beautiful hotel, the rooms are fantastic and they have a lot of personal touches like happy hour, a basket of breakfast snacks in the morning, coffee and tea in the room and more. We will be back for sure!

money could have closed their doors and tried to deal personally with the devastating hurricane and floods that happened through Florida, Georgia north and South Carolina. I have never had such great customer service wherever I stayed and this was one of my most favorite hotels. North Carolina is full of fabulous people who have grit and tenacity to keep their businesses open!

We loved The Restoration. Fantastic staff, options and beautiful space. The food, drinks and coffee were all fantastic and made our trip perfect. Balcony king was gorgeous even while freezing! Beautiful view over looking the park full of Christmas lights at night and mountains during daylight. Simply a must stay while in Asheville.

Many amenities listed for the hotel we're not available during my stay. I have a young son with diabetes and this made managing his care more difficult. I reached out to the hotel before arriving via phone and email but got no response. When I arrived and spoke to them in person, no effort was made to remedy my concerns.

Not a hotel - apartment for rent
Second time we stayed here but very disappointed this round. Blindsided by lack of services…no housekeeping, no breakfast baskets, no bars/restaurants open (even though other hotel bars were operating), no bellhop (he watched us pull up from inside the lobby and didn’t offer help with bags or valet). They just had a “too bad for you” attitude. I understand some services being limited due to the storm but they literally had no services and a bad attitude as well. This will be the last time we stay there.
