My apartment is a spacious and cozy place 63 square meters, perfectly located in the heart of the historic center of Athens, in the neighborhood of Thiseio, few meters away from Apostolou Pavlou pedestrian street. Acropolis Hill and Ancient Agora is only 10 minutes walking.
The location couldn’t be better.
The metro station is only 3 minutes away thats why it is an ideal getaway destination for someone who wants to explore the city of Athens.
The view from the shared rooftop (two floors up by narrow, typical, back stairs) is spectacular. Guests can enjoy the privacy of the whole apartment which I always make sure to be clean and neat.
Whenever is in our hand, we will be glad to offer an early check-in or late check-out.

Perfect spot in Athens!
Irene was the absolute best host! She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The apartment was immaculately clean and had all the comforts of home. My daughter and I loved this apartment, and its location was a perfect mix of tourist and local. Irene also hooked us up with the best taxi driver. Defiantly recomend!

Ideal for a week visit to Athens
You know you have booked a great location when you give the address of the apartment to the taxi driver at the cruise port and he says “oh, that is a perfect location to be staying in Athens!” We couldn’t have been more happy with the apartment overall!! Ideal location- beautiful rooftop view of the Acropolis and within walking distance to all the major sights you came to see. Restaurants galore nearby, a metro station just down the hill, access to the main pedestrians lanes around ancient Athens within 1/2 block. Irene was the perfect host. The apartment access instructions were perfect and easy to follow. Irene was available via text and was awesome at making recommendations for beaches, restaurants and tips for the best times to go certain places. The apartment was sparkling clean and so spacious and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Access to the rooftop patio was an added bonus. Super quiet area- we slept so well. Only one flight of stairs up to access the unit. Nice to have the added convenience of insuite laundry. And Irene was so kind to leave water, coffee and cookies and items for an easy breakfast on our first day. We could not recommend a better place for you to stay in Athens.

We could not have picked a better location. Thissio is indeed THE best place to locate for exploring the best sights of Athens as well as the local culture.The property was spotless and could not have been any better equipped. The Host, Irene, was wonderful and very helpful from the moment we booked.The only fault we could find is that we were 2 couples and the 2nd bedroom really only had a single bed and a cot. We recommend it highly...for a family with 2 children.

The Perfect Place
This apartment was spacious with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 1bath, a rooftop patio and 2 balconies. It was exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. It’s location is close to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, 2 pharmacies and a mini-market. Irene, host, greeted us with key, helped carry bags and gave lots of useful information and directed us to good restaurants. She was always available by phone. Sunset on Acropolis from the rooftop was spectacular. 2 drawbacks: stairs, no elevator, to first floor apartment and street noise was disturbing for sleeping in front bedroom. Thank you, Irene and VRBO. Wonderful stay!

Fantastic location, view, and host!
This lovely apartment is in the heart of the area around the Acropolis, short walk to the site, Metro, and Plaka areas. Very clean, well-appointed and the host is phenomenal. She helped us find a trusted taxi for a very early morning flight, he was reliable and gave us great tips on things to see, do and taste. This is a true gem!

Heaven's door in Athens
Our stay in Irini's little piece of heaven was absolutely delightful! She is a total sweetheart and is an outstanding host and made us feel as if we were family! She gave great recommendations for places to eat, shop and travel. The apartment was spacious with all amenities needed including great internet and was located in a perfect location for us to visit Athen's outstanding sights and for travel access to other locations. You can view the Acropolis from her rooftop terrace and enjoy a cocktail there on her table & chairs. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and watched others enjoying the gorgeous neighborhood and all it has to offer. She also has a washing machine and clothesline out rear patio door to dry clothes. You can enjoy excellent restaurants & do grocery shopping all within a one block distance and with an additional block enjoy an outstanding bakery! We wish we could give her & her apartment 10 stars as she and the apartment earned them during our 4 week stay. In closing, if we return to Athens, we will absolutely stay here again!

Irene was a wonderful host! Clean, comfortable apartment with a small terrace in front and back of the property to see the street. The roof top was relaxing and comfortable with an absolutely amazing and mesmerizing view of the acropolis at night. There was an almost full moon when we were there and the view was gorgeous! This apartment was not only comfy and close to all Athens has to offer but the host is AMAZING. She was extremely accommodating and was full of a wealth of information regarding the beautiful city of Athens. Perfect apartment for our 3 day stay!
We had a fantastic stay at Irene's apartment! It was a delight to meet Irene as she is so welcoming and accommodating. We were able to leave our bags early and visited with her before our check in. We learned about the history of her apartment, everything we needed to know and recommendations for restaurants (which were wonderful) We loved staying in the residential area of Thisseo. It was quiet yet close to the pedestrian walkway which we took to the Acropolis and the Odeon where we saw a concert. Great sights and restaurants all are within walking distance. When we traveled to other busy areas of Athens-Plaka, Monastiraki and Syntagma square, we were so happy we could come back to a peaceful yet vibrant area where the apartment is located. There is a beautiful view of the Acropolis if you want to access the winding, metal stairs from the kitchen door. Beautiful! We went shopping at a nearby grocery for essentials and Irene's kitchen was well stocked and she even left goodies for us. Thank you, Irene, for a memorable stay in your beautiful apartment. We can't wait to return!

Awesome location- view of Acropolis
The apartment was very nice and met our needs. Two bedrooms to accommodate us, a kitchen and living room. Not super fancy, but definitely clean and very nice place to stay. Temperature was in the 90s the two days we were there and the AC worked perfectly. The rooftop of the apartment building has a prime view of the Acropolis, which we enjoyed at night when it was all lit up. Great place to relax, drink some wine, and be in awe of the view. We met guests from one of the other apartments up there one night and they recommended a rooftop restaurant across the street. The food was awesome and the view just as spectular as from our apartment. Just a few minutes walk to Ancient Agora. Maybe a 30-minute walk to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, and Olympic stadium, many nearby restaurants. Irene was very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage in the apartment building until it was ready as we had arrived early that morning from a cruise ship. Great communications with her. I highly recommend Irene's apartment!
