Property was close to Centennial Park, Aquarium, and other attractions. Easy to walk to all destinations. The room was very nice and clean. The valet service was easy and quick.

The floors in the room were sticky and the light in the bathroom never turned on. The A/C unit would not cool room. (We had it on 67 and it was up to 73 in the room when we woke up)

Our 25th anniversary trip to Atlanta was almost ruined by a cancelled concert, but our stay at The American made up for it. It’s a beautiful hotel and the service we received from Nicole was amazing! She made us feel welcome from start to finish!! Customer service at its best was what we received from her!

My stay was nothing short of perfect. The cleaning staff was amazing. The front desk staff were happy to answer any questions and very friendly. The property is within walking distance of the Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola World, and the Sky View Ferris Wheel.
