This is an old run down resort from 1978. If anything has been renovated, you wouldn't know it. The biggie for me where I can't go over 2-stars is the same with any casino, hotel or resort which is they nickel and dime you on a resort fee and then also charge a parking fee, even if you're already staying there. If I'm staying at the hotel and spending money there either gambling or on food or drink, please don't charge me to park in the garage.. Also the resort fee by now I think everyone has figured out is chicken $hit. Wifi, local calls, terrible in room coffee & an old dilapidated workout facility. Just make an all-inclusive price instead of tacking on a surprise.

I checked in, and as soon as we got to the room the front desk called me and told me they were charging me for the room because my room had been cancelled and Expedia had not paid. We were leaving for a concert and I didn’t have time to address it, so when we got back from the concert at 11 pm, I went to the front desk and showed them my receipt from Expedia that I reserved and paid for the room. They then told me that Expedia had to send a new card because the other wasn’t working. I didn’t understand that. They told me I had to call Expedia and tell them to send another card. I then went to my room and explained it to Expedia. They said they would put me on hold for 5 minutes to talk to the front desk. Then Expedia got back on the phone with me and said it was straightened out. This was after midnight by the time I was done. Then the next morning I checked out and I asked them if they credited my card. They did that after I explained everything. Hopefully, it is correct when I get my Visa statement. So it wasn’t a relaxing stay. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. There was no fan in the bathroom.

The vibe here is excellent. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. I felt very safe. So many food and drink options and close to everything on the boardwalk.
