Great location and quiet room.Good price… But…. Unfortunately the staff were busy in their computers at the front desk was unattended on arrival. There was a cleaner there who ignored us, but then yelled to her colleague who came scurrying it to check us in. The carpet in the room hadn’t been vacuumed, there were long black hairs on the shower drain, yuk, and the walls needed a thorough repaint as they had scuff marks, dirt and touch up paint blotches all over them, and a most unpleasant looking stain in the valance sheet of the single bed. General maintenance around the hotel is poor, toilet roll holder missing in the bathroom, plastic knob on the end of robe hook missing. Carpets were grubby repaint needed. Reception area had a very opaque (dirt?) glass door leading to the restaurant area. Outside the carpark lines were badly faded and the Hotel frontage had general litter( takeaway bags and drinks lying in the ground , I don’t think the frontage has seen a broom in years. Sorry to say all this but the Managers or owners just need to look around them and see it . Spend a bit of money and it’ll be slick and span very quickly and clearly the cleaners need to actually clean 😀

There were a lot of marks and stains all over the place which is somewhat understandable as some are hard to get out but some of them are clearly new and seem as if the room wasn’t even cleaned in between the person that stayed the night before and us checking in today. The sink was especially gross and dirty. The fridge is unusable it is very dirty and drippy and the milk is over 6 months out of date. The fridge also has a wire that is crackling and looks dodgy. The socket beside the bed is hanging out of the wall and doesn’t look overly safe. The microwave and jug are also quite dirty. From the photos online we did not get what we had expected at all and are quite disappointed and didn't feel comfortable staying there so we got different accommodation so felt like we wasted our money on Boulevard Hotel. very dissappointing.

Friendly staff that were helpful when asked for anything. Close to Wentworth College where my son was sitting Cambridge exams. Newmarket mall walking distance away so handy to shops. Only downfall, no eating utensils in the unit, had to ask for bolls and spoons,(which were given).
