My room was actually two rooms. While there was no utensils or pot pans, there was a stove and a refrigerator and a teapot. The shower was perfect for elderly people like me as it was walk-in. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. The hotel itself was a little aged, but still very, very nice, it would’ve been nicer to be closer to the skyway

Never again until they renovate.
Location is excellent to our shopping therapy. All staff we encountered were polite and helpful. We are aware that the building is dated but they gave us a suite with a very badly stained carpet, couch, dining chairs and burned carpet on the luggage table. This room should not be sold, it should be renovated. Our mistake is that we did not complain at the front desk, becasue were only staying 2 nights and we'll be out of the room most of the day.

Good location, friendly staff.
This is my second time staying at Grand Diamond Suites. It's so much more vibrant in comparison to my 1st time there during 2022 Covid pandemic where there were not so many tourists yet and most of the shops on the ground level were vacant. The thing I wanted to see changes would be the pillows and mattress. They are simply too soft for me resulting in poor night's sleep throughout my entire stay.

I was in Bangkok for one reason only - a bit (lot) of retail therapy! - and as other reviewers have stated it's very close to the shops. Everything is connected by covered walkways to shade you sun or rain so it's quite convenient. The property itself is rather dated so everything looks a bit tired and dark. The mini suite is quite comfy but the carpets have seen better days. As i was only there to rest in between shopping that wasn't a problem. Breakfast was ok but there was no hot water. Massage place clean. I would probably stay again.
