The Yard is an amazing getaway garden in Bangkok. It's located in a calm area away from party and hustle, but you can easily take the skytrain to the city center.
The hostel is quite new, so it is in really good condition. The feeling is hipster with a eco-twist. The garden is a very cozy and inviting, breakfast is small but good and the washing areas are very modern. They offer you free drinking water as well. Outside the hostel there is a burger restaurant, where we ate the best burgers ever!! (we've eaten loads)
The staff is amazing and helpful, hanging around with the guests.
The only minus is the noisiness when sleeping in seacontainers surrounded with steel, you hear clearly people walking the stairs and banging their doors.
Not counting the banging of the movement, I'd say the hostel is 5/5.
