Isossa huoneessa on king-vuode ja queen-vuode molemmissa kahdessa makuuhuoneessa. Lämpimät sävyt ja mukavat kalusteet antavat tämän helmen viehättävän tunnelman. Olohuoneessa on puulämmitteinen liesi ja taulu-tv, ja siinä on koko vuodesohva. Tämä kotiin mahtuu 8 vierasta. Tarjolla on täysin varustettu keittiö, pesukone ja kuivausrumpu sekä oma WiFi. Xmas ski trip
Had a lovely Christmas at the property. Beds we comfy and the huge sofa in the living room accommodated the whole family. Kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook a Christmas dinner. Very close to Sugar Mountain ski resort (a few mins drive). The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of a day’s skiing. We will be back.

We had to cut our vacation short for unfortunately reasons but the rental was nice. It was very clean for a house that allows dogs. It didn’t smell. We enjoyed the one night we did stay. It was warm and cozy.

Nice stay on sugar mountain
We are repeat guests at this house. House is comfortable and the kitchen is completely stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. It’s convenient to tennis and golf, and short drive to banner elk. We will be back next year!

Need to be cleaned up but great location and is fully equipped.
The unit had a great location but needs some cleaning. The exterior deck had a lot of debris like twigs and the furniture was not clean enough to sit on. The interior had a lot of dead bugs by the windows and doors, a not-so-fresh odor, and had a lot of dust around the baseboards. There was nowhere to put the trash. It is in need of a bear box outside the unit for trash. The unit did have everything you need for a stay though. Fully equipped. The drive is extremely steep. I recommend a high-profile vehicle in the summer months at the very least. My 4wd Highlander was losing traction during wet conditions.

We had a great time relaxing at the Sugar Shack and exploring the area. The stairs in the house are steep. So just be careful walking up and down. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating and relaxing hot tub. Overall great stay and would recommend.

Hot tub was broken, frozen driveway, dishes all in dishwasher
We were told a couple of hours prior to check in that our hot tub wasn’t going to be usable during our stay. The hot tub is the reason we booked this property so finding out right before check in and not being given any other options was pretty disappointing. It was also very obvious no one had been up to the unit in days due to not seeing any foot prints in the snow leading to the hot tub and fresh snow laying on top of the cover. The driveway was icy and we had no warning before entering, and had to salt the driveway ourselves. Once we entered the cabin we noticed there was hardly any silverware or glasses and didn’t realize they were all in the dishwasher still until the second morning we were there. The only things provided are dishwasher tablets, garbage bags and salt and pepper in the kitchen, if you want to wash dishes bring your own dish soap. If you want to cook, bring your own oil. The home was clean, but was lacking in servers areas as detailed above. We are mostly upset about not being able to use the hot tub, and hardly being compensated for the issue.

Beautiful with lots of great space!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property, which had gracious spaces for us to enjoy. We had a surprising amount of winter weather during our stay, which made it actually impossible to get up the driveway, even with 4x4. We were able to as a compromise get off the main road so as not to interrupt traffic but we otherwise were not able to park close until our checkout day when it had warmed up. We also noticed the heat took quite a long time to bring the property to a comfortable temperature, with the cold outside the house heating took until the next day to reach a comfortable indoor temperature, and for a while was even getting slightly colder as temperatures dropped outside! For those staying in the rooms they were able to get by that evening with personal heaters placed in each bedroom but the unfortunate ones on the pullout couch had little options until the house warmed. Once the house heated we had a wonderful time enjoying the amenities (hot tub, porch fire table, etc.), And watching the snow after a day of skiing. We will definitely recommend this location to others.

Needs spring cleaning, repairs and an updated listing.
Entertainment center, wood burning indoor fireplace and hammock were in the listing but have been removed from property. Very musty pet odor on bottom floor. Would not have stayed if we had to sleep on the bottom floor. Cigarette butts were all around outside even though the listing says no smoking. The only heater that worked properly was the space heater in master bedroom. The toilet flapper in master bathroom was broken so the toilet ran constantly. The flood lights at the entrance steps were not working so we had to use phones to see at night and also lighting in hot tub area was not working. You can tell the place had been cleaned, but the property was showing it's age and needed maintenance inside and out. I would not stay again in the condition it is currently in.

Great place for family and kids. Well appointed and clean cabin, very nicely laid out in an awesome location. Checkin and checkout processes were simple and well communicated. Our only gripe was the radiant heating units were not working properly and we left a message on the after hours phone number but didn't hear back or get it fixed. Since the weather was not too cold it didn't matter to us.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin has parking for 4-5 vehicles when parked strategically. The warning about 4wd in the winter should be heeded. There are about 20 steps to get to the upstairs living area. The interior staircase has carpet strips that are not attached to the floor. We removed them during our stay and replaced them at checkout, because my daughter in law fell down the steps when the carpet slipped. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom with a washer and dryer downstairs. There’s an outside entrance to the downstairs that has about 3 steps. The hot tub is also on the downstairs porch. The hot tub kept me skiing all 5 days we were there and is located under the upstairs decking making it sheltered from rain and snow. The upstairs has a master bedroom with a bathroom and an open kitchen and living space. The sofa had a tear in the back of the cushion, but was comfortable. There’s everything you’ll need to cook including a toaster and a regular brew coffee maker. The interior of the house does not have a wood burning fireplace as it has been removed. This was a disappointment for us. There’s a gas grill on the deck right under the camera. We really enjoyed our stay and had we been skiing at Sugar we could have possibly walked to the slopes. We could hear the snow blowers at night while we were outside, but not inside. If we decided to ski Sugar in the future we would definitely consider this cabin.

Wonderful location
House was nicer than the pics showed and the location is top notch. Not sure if it was the rental company or the home owners that had the driveway cleared but we were so thankful. It is a pretty steep driveway but even with the recent snow it was cleared for us to pull up it. THANK YOU!! Hot tub was very nice and our kids loved it and the Hot water in the house was resort quality. Overall our stay was wonderful and was exactly what we needed. If we get the chance to stay here again we will for sure.

The property was exactly what we needed. Great location, top of the mountain! The driveway is difficult in the snow, there is room to fit a car at the bottom, parallel if necessary. The hot tub worked great to get rid of all the aches from snowboarding all day. The kids loved playin around on the property! So quiet up there! Snow makes it so much better!!!

Great Area and close to town.
House was nice and spacious, bedrooms are away from each other so there was privacy. Upstairs is nice open and cozy, downstairs needs some work though. It has a mildewy smell, carpets were dirty. Room on the left looks like it's where everyone comes and takes their wet gear off. My suggestion is to just remove the carpet. Other than that it was a good stay, everything was well stocked. I'd stay here again but with hopes they remodel the downstairs.
