This beautiful house is near the end of a dead-end road, so it feels very private.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are two parents, of two adult children, each have a partner/spouse, and one 2-year-old — so we needed a house where we could have at least three bedrooms (we wanted the fourth bedroom in case a nephew joined us, but he didn't). We were in town to attend the covid-postponed wedding of a cousin, to see family who live in the area, and to visit Acadia National Park.
The house is big enough that we all felt that we had enough space. The beds are quite comfortable, and we appreciated the sheets of clear instructions left by the owners. Our son & his wife were glad to see the collection of children's books in their upstairs bedroom, as they hadn't brought many books along for their young one.
The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs, though it would be nice to have a table where everyone could sit together (the house sleeps 8, but the only table seats 4, with a kitchen island that seats two more).
The living room is big enough that we were all able to gather there. It has a very comfortable sectional sofa with two reclining seats.
The owners were very responsive to every question we had.
