So you only give people bed sheets and not bed covers which I couldn’t really get a decent nights sleep in also don’t provide any cleaning equipment plus on the second to last day I had to get taken out of my hostel and removed from a guy who kept snoring when he should of been the one getting removed.

More hotel than hostel in the private rooms
Property was well positioned in the heart of Barcelona with tons of amenities (that I did not use). I had a private room with bathroom which was spotless and well kept through out my stay. The entire hostel was VERY quiet which was perfect for an old lady like me! I would recommend a private room at BcnSportsHostels for anyone looking for a budget hotel type experience. My one quibble is that the mattress was pretty uncomfortable, I could feel every spring, but it did not stop me from getting a good night's sleep each night after exhausting myself in Barcelona each day.

I went to check in today at 1.30pm with my hotel booking saying 2pm check in. The brunette girl on reception said they charge 30 euro for luggage storage (bizarre to charge??) and that checkin was 3pm. I showed my booking saying 2pm (an unwell, solo young female traveller dying to get settled in) and she yelled at me “well I’m telling you 3pm now”. She yelled swear words at me so I no longer felt welcome to stay here. I said ok, cancel my booking I don’t want to stay here and she said “we don’t want you here, get out… and waved me to the door”. I asked for her name and she just mocked me. The most horrendous experience that left me in tears on the streets stranded. Brunette girl, you seriously need to leave customer service. You are a sad sad person. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! EVER!!!!!!

Horrible experience, been turned on the street coz didn’t have €3 city tax with me, although on the website it states they only accept card payments. Rude staff lady shouting on me over &3, no empty i was travelling over 20h to there. Person like this shouldn’t work at customer service in any circumstances! Even though my room was prepaid she told me i can sleep on the street. 0/10

Nope, don’t stay here.
What a terrible hostel. By far the worst bed I’ve ever slept in, every bed in my room has springs that will constantly be digging into your body. Could barely sleep, by body aches from that bed. When I asked reception for a blanket, they apparently do not own any blankets. To be fair she did provide me with extra sheets, but they were not enough as the springs digging into my back for so intense. I am not usually picky with beds but wow. Kitchen was a mess, this may be do to the guests though. I did see the cleaning lady doing her best. Never room in the fridge, barely room in the kitchen. It’s a large hostel with a tiny kitchen. Oh and it closes at 22:30 so that kind of sucked. One reception lady was nice, the others were rude and short and don’t interact with you. During my check in the only word that was said to me was “Passport”. Terrible experience 10/10 would not recommend this place. Spend the extra few euro’s for a better place, and closer to Barcelona as this is a quite out of the way.

Great location and friendly staff. Only wish you could have bins inside the bathrooms in mixed dorms as it's very uncomfortable for girls who need to dispose of their sanitary products to have to bring them outside.
