Beautiful, authentic log cabin with acres of land, fishing pond, and hot tub.

Cabin has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, nice game room with full size pool table, electric fireplace, TV in living room, game room and master bedroom, Wi-Fi, dvd/vcr, central heat and air. There is a futon for extra sleeping in the game room for teens and kids. Game room has door to make it private if needed. House is best suited for 4 adults and kids.

No parties or large groups permitted. Homeowners live across the pond should you need anything.

HOT TUB IS CURRENTLY OUT OF ORDER

Misled and eerie
Very misleading and unsettling property. Peep holes cut into the blinds. Hot tub was 50 degrees. Doors were not locked when we arrived. You can see on inside of doors there was a dead bolt but they removed the actual dead bolt part. Smoke detectors took off wall. Blinds on back door were perfectly off set so one was facing up, the other facing down so you could perfectly see into the bedroom. Also pool table room is so small you can’t even hit from one side because of the windows. Stuff all over bed sheets. And no signage to find the property or anything. Had to get the key 30 minutes away from the property even though owners live next door. Very eerie and not okay when your guests spend money to enjoy their evening and feel comfortable.

Not clean and the hot tub was nasty
There was mouse poop in the kitchen drawers, there was trash all around the hot tub including the old filters they just threw on the floor, they didn’t shovel the deck or salt it and I slipped, the directions they gave were wrong, took an hour to find it, we never received check in directions so thank goodness they had a phone number to call, the check in spot is 25 minutes away from the cabin. We just got there in time to get the key. The Internet didn’t work at all, there were so many dead bugs and dust under the bed, the upstairs hadn’t been vacuumed at all or the stairs, dogs barked during the night so we couldn’t sleep. At least the bed downstairs was comfy but I didn’t feel clean. The bathroom and fridge was clean at least. When we first got there they brought in the microwave cuz theirs stopped working, nothing like an awkward experience when you first get there. Said fishing was available in the pond but it was frozen over. Wish they would’ve said that. There’s trash all in front of the yard. The hosts were super sweet people but they seriously need to do a better job at cleaning, when we woke up there was mouse poop all over the counters. It’s the country I get it, I was born & raised in Wisconsin in the woods, but you can absolutely keep them contained with proper cleaning and constantly having traps. Hopefully it’s better in the summer time, this was my 1 night to get away and it sucjs I couldn’t enjoy it.

Comfortable stay
The cabin is located in a very secluded rural area with the owners house across the pond but they respected our privacy during our stay. The cabin itself was clean and the beds comfortable.

Check in process was easy and we even checked in after hours. Cabin was adorable. We enjoyed the hot tub even while it was snowing!!
