Overall this property was awesome and the customer service was good. My mattress protector was stained and the sheets very kind of worn out but still clean. The room was very nice. If I can make one suggestion, it would be to update the sheets and mattress protectors. Other than that it was great.

The hotel looked new online but it is definitely NOT new. The rooms are tiny and very basic. The tv was large but mediocre on the channels and quality of the picture. The pool was ok but the hot tub was out of service which is what we were counting on, and the pool area smelled like foul sewage every time the fan turned on and also the sill dry strong smell of chemicals as they were refinishing the hot tub. It was also very cold in the pool area because due to the smells they had the window open so with a temperature of 12 degrees, it was not enjoyable. The breakfast was so-so, waffles were good otherwise but very minimal in choices and not well stocked for what little they did have. If you’re going for a ski weekend at Winterplace be aware you will have a toll each way, it’s $4.50 each time. The food selection around the hotel was ok. Would not stay here again but it was clean and staff were nice.

Comfy beds and close to restaurants. Only complaint is that the power went out for several hours shortly after we checked in to the motel on Saturday night. Thankfully the power came back on several hours later. Would be great if they would compensate (refund!!) guests for the inconvenience!!

We were Very disappointed to find out at check in that the hot tub was broken. After along day of travel we look forward to the hot tub. We probably would have stayed somewhere else.

It was obvious that the Management and staff care and try to keep the facility in good shape. With the waffle maker being the main offering for breakfast, I think more than one machine would be a good idea. Overall we needed an overnight break and this hotel was comfortable and convenient to get to.

Agree to $100 hold for incidentals or no room keys

This hotel would not give me the keys to my room until I agreed to them putting a hold of $100 on my credit card for what they call incidentals. My room was pre-paid and non-refundable and I was held hostage until I accepted their ridiculous terms. The desk lady was not a pleasant person and had somewhat of an attitude.
