Spring River Lodge

Rauhallinen ja hiljainen, mutta silti kätevästi lähellä Sunriveriä sijaitseva ihastuttava koti sopii erinomaisesti perheelle, joka haluaa kokea parhaat mahdollisuudet Keski-Oregonin ulkoiluaktiviteetteihin. Village at Sunriver sijaitsee kolme mailia itään tästä loma-asunnosta, joten on helppo suunnitella ostospäivän iltapäivä tai nopea ateria. Mt. Bachelor-hiihtoalue on alle 20 mailin päässä, joten voit nukkua, nauttia aamiaisen ja olla silti yksi ensimmäisistä hiihtäjistä vuorella.

Great Overall

The house was in need of a good dusting and kitchen cleaning when we arrived. Also, the stovetop was broken; so we had to do all our cooking on 2 hot plates. The upstairs queen bedroom did not have a curtain on the big window on the door to the porch. Basement bedrooms had a stuffy smell. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious with drawers and closets. Property management always responded quickly. (They did offer to send a cleaning crew out, but we declined.) The river access in the back yard was wonderful. We brought our paddle boards and connected with the Deschutes River. The kitchen had lots of stuff —a bit disorganized so it was hard to find things—but they did have a lot. Coffee maker was an automatic drip with basket filter. Location was good for our adventures. Restaurants in Bend are generally better than the Sunriver offerings. Would I stay again? Definitely! The pluses definitely outweighed the couple minuses.

The perfect Sunriver home

Wonderful, large home right on the river. The interior is dated as other travelers have said, but the place is very comfortable, clean and has everything you need for your stay. We especially enjoyed the game room on the first floor with ping pong table and foosball. One critique is that the yard itself is not really usable because it is not level and the grass is too tall. Not much room for lawn games.

Beautiful area

We had a great trip. The area is beautiful. The house is dated, but comfortably fit our party of 10 (4 adults, 2 teens, 3 kids). The downstairs with the games/tv was great . My only complaint is that the upstairs of house was very dusty. Lots of sneezing/stuffy noses during our stay.

This home is located in a perfect location. This house is dated but was very clean. If the carpet was removed upstairs and new floor laid it would be a great improvement to overall appearance

A 30th Birthday Celebration

It was a quiet and peaceful (and safe from the virus) way to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday - which she greatly appreciated. It was also a completely satisfactory experience for Grandma who joined us. The serene surroundings, so close to nature suited us all.

Great location in SunRiver

We had 3 generations staying at this property with ages ranging from 4 to 80. The home was really spacious and there was enough space for everyone. We especially liked the location on the river. It was used daily for kayaking and paddle boarding. [side note about this river -- it's a feeder river into the Deschuttes which is a quick paddle away (maybe 3/4 mile). It was amazingly clear and clean - a really special place if you enjoy getting on the water]. The basement / play area was a real bonus for the kids. The home is older, but was clean and well maintained.

Family Reunion in Sun River

The house was just as described and pictured on the site. It was perfect for our family as there was plenty of space for our 3 sets of adults and 2 small children. The downstairs level has a ping pong table and other games, as well as a TV, which were a big hit. It also worked out well to have the kids sleep downstairs with their parents as they slept and awakened on a different schedule and we all were able to rest. It was pretty cool downstairs at night but was warmed by a wood-burning stove. We really appreciated the stack of wood that was supplied by our host. We enjoyed time on the large deck and its lovely view of a shallow river at the edge of the property. My grandson and I enjoyed walking down to visit the ducks on the river every day. There's really not much within walking distance, but eateries and stores are a short drive away. The host supplied all appliances, cookware and dishes that we needed for our stay. It was a joy to have our family all around the large table together for our meals. We were very comfortable and had a great time.

Not For Swimming

Overall our two families had a wonderful time at this house. I was very disappointed at the distance to the water from the house. You can only see the water from one corner of the property and we wanted waterfront. Our families specifically came to spend time in the water for our week vacation and that was not possible. First, the water is FREEZING! Second, it is only about 2 feet deep. We did love to kayak down the river each day and even saw deer playing in the water! The house itself is very well laid out for families with kids. The basement was well stocked with lots of games and nice beds. The house could use some serious updating. Also we were desperate for a toaster and the house had none and did not have any laundry detergent. These were mere hiccups and did not effect our overall vacation. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It also was very convenient being so close to Sunriver activities.

Great for Large Groups

Great place to stay, especially for large groups. There are 4 bedrooms with tons of beds. The owners seem to have thought out what people would need and enjoy. Pros: Great spacious layout Beautiful Property with amazing view of river Nice Game Room Lots of supplies for large groups (tons of silverware, blankets, pillows, towels, etc.) Beautiful Large Dinning Table Baby & Kid Supplies (toys, high chair, pack n play) Awesome location (close to Sunriver, Bend, Mt. Bachelor) Cons: Outdated A few broken items No lock on the main bathroom (kindof a big deal) No SHARC passes

Perfect spot for families

Spent a few days together after my sister’s wedding. Was the perfect spot for our family to relax and enjoy all that the area has to offer. Kid proof and space with lots of games in a beautiful setting. Awesome!

Lovely home in a lovely setting.

Fully stocked with everything necessary, and conveniently located near services in Sunriver. Large deck, plenty of room for kids. River access is unimproved, but could easily be used for kayaks and canoes.

Great stay, close to everything but quiet

Tucked by the water, great views with such a serine landscape. Close to all of what sunriver has to offer. House is fully stocked for a great time. Has all the amenities. Highly recommend!

Great for large group

4 couples came for a weekend away, house had rooms for everyone, lots of dishes, household items, towels, etc. House is dated but vintage lodge cute, everything worked, beds were comfortable. Decks were outstanding, river is so peaceful. Location is outside Sunriver proper but super close for coffee trips and restaurant options. Price for a house this big so close to Sunriver is an outstanding bargain. We most definitely will be back!

Family New Year's Trip

The house was comfortable for 4 small families and extremely close to the Sunriver Village and Mt. Bachelor. Beautiful view from the deck of the river out back. Only issue we had was figuring out how to work the heat so the bedrooms stayed at a comfortable level during the night. Seems to be a draft coming from the sliding glass doors and windows especially in the master bedroom and couldn't get the temp to stay in the upper 60's during the night in there. We have a baby monitor that records the temp and it was always hanging around 62 degrees during the night which is pretty cold regardless of what we tried.

Perfect for our family gathering.

We had an after Christmas get together with family from California. The ping pong and fuse table were a hit with the kids. Enough space for all of us to enjoy time together without stepping on each other. Location was great, quiet and had a nice view.
