If you want to feel like you are camping, at Ritz-Carlton prices, this is your place. After staying in this house for three nights, we would not recommend this home to others, in this condition at the listed price. We did not feel that the home was well maintained or well cleaned. There were cobwebs that had clearly been around for weeks or months, kitchen cabinets filled with dead bugs, and ants crawling everywhere including beds. The furniture in the screened in porch could have been wiped down a few times over which would have been much appreciated. The posting indicated the refrigerator was standard and on the small side but there was no notification that the oven was the size for a studio apt and couldn’t fit standard baking trays. The roof is leaking into the bathroom, the top bunk beds are so close to the ceiling we wouldn't let our kids sleep in them, and they are extremely close to the air conditioning unit. The remote controls, light bulbs, screens are not well maintained making it difficult to keep the home lit, cool, relatively bug free, and dry. Stating that the home was totally newly renovated is a bit of a stretch, the counter tops in the kitchen are new as are the floors in the home but that’s about it. It wasn't clear to us that two of the bedrooms and one bath are in a separate structure from the master/kitchen/living room, separated by a screened in porch. We would not have felt comfortable having young children in the bunk bed room without another adult in that structure. On top of this, the house has a strong smell of must and the screens are all broken in the porch area. This very rustic home is not a rental property that I would recommend
