We stopped in Big Bear to visit with some friends that live in the area. It was the last stop on a 28 day road trip with our dogs. We had stayed in seven vacation rentals on this trip and Ellie’s house was the most welcoming, clean, and comfortable out of all of them! It just felt really relaxing to not have to worry and think of how things might not be cleaned properly. The bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, the yard was small but did the trick. The neighborhood is really walkable and we enjoyed daily walks looking at all of the other cabins, mansions, and houses. Ellie was really kind and responsive to our questions. 10/10 on this one!! Thank you Ellie!

End of Summer Big Bear Family Trip
Great/super welcoming host, adorable cozy cabin in a very accessible location. Cabin was very clean, organized, comfortable and spacious for our family of 4 plus two pups. Had everything we needed for the stay. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and I was very grateful for all of the kitchen items, plus more, that were available to us. Neighborhood was very quiet during our time of the stay, can walk to grab food near by and the kids loved being so close to Boulder Bay for lake swimming and Alpine slide/magic mountain for a fun morning. Thanks Ellie!

Our stay at the Dream Cabin went well beyond our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice, the space is absolutely gorgeous with a very high vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with everything you need to cook or grill. There are plenty of board games ready to play. The jacuzzi would comfortably fit 6 people. The bed and sheets were the softest and fluffiest we’ve ever had on a vacation stay. We finally found an amazing pet friendly property we could enjoy with our puppy. We will absolutely book again and recommend to our friends. Thank you Ellie!

Girls, Ladies Night
Stayed at the cabin for two nights on our way down to San Diego. Very clean, kitchen had everything you may need to cook a meal. Ample space for 5 people and 2 dogs. There is no AC but you get a nice cross breeze by opening all the windows.

Fourth of July getaway
Always wanted to see the fireworks over the lake. This property was a short distance from the marina where my boat is. The house is very modern, with many great details. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful.

Clean, comfortable cabin near downtown Big Bear
Cabin was clean, sufficiently spacious for 6 people. 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (1 in bedroom). Check in was straightforward. 3 TVs. Washer + dryer. The kitchen included an island, keurig machine; more than enough plates, pans, utensils, etc.; microwave, oven. It is about 4 mins (driving) from downtown Big Bear.

Great Big Bear Vacation Home
The Dream Cabin was perfect for our little family to enjoy the snow. The hot tub was amazing after a day in the snow. The house is nicely decorated and modern while still feeling like a cozy cabin. We loved it and plan to stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The one thing we are always looking for is cleanliness. The cabin was fully stocked, clean, and conveniently located within a couple of miles to everything. We decided last minute not to bring our dog, but we know she would’ve loved the open space as well. I would definitely stay at the Dream Cabin again!!! Thank you, Ellie!

Cleanest place we ever stayed at
Great kitchen I was cooking up a storm. Really comfortable beds and couch. Super clean place. I highly recommend it. The holiday decorations were a very nice touch. Very clear instructions, and after a day of skiing the Jacuzzi really felt great.

Bright, Light and Comfortable!
Dream Cabin is newer construction, has a gorgeous, well-appointed kitchen and super comfortable couches and beds. It has a fenced backyard which worked great for our small dog, and, though a little crowded in with other houses, the location makes it an easy walk to the Alpine Slide and getting to the village simple. It would be nice if the neighbors cleaned up the garbage pile that the master window looks onto, but that is in no way the fault of the people who maintain Dream Cabin. Ellie was communicative, thoughtful and the place was spotless!

Relaxing Getaway
We went for a girls trip and we loved our stay. The pictures do not do it justice it is even more beautiful in person. It was super clean, one of the cleanest rentals we ever stayed at. The beds and bedding are really comfortable. It is fully stocked, it had everything you could need. Great host that pays attention to details. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent Property In Big Bear
Really enjoyed our stay here. Appreciated the Host’s attention to detail, right down to the availability of Cinnamon for morning coffee. Beds are comfortable, cabin is new, clean and quiet. This is not a party pad, cabin is more suited for families. I have two small requests for the Host; 1) a better wine opener. There are 2, neither works well; and 2) please consider providing a magnifying, lighted makeup mirror in master bathroom (like what most hotels have). I walked back and forth between the mirrored closet door and bathroom. Distance to the bathroom mirror was a challenge for me, especially when applying and removing makeup. These are not deal breakers and the cabin offers more than enough amenities.

Gorgeous house in great location
Well appointed lovely house in a great location. Jacuzzi fit all 5 of us and could have fit 6 easy. Everything you need to cook or bake is there. Beds and bedding quite comfortable.
