We could not check-in before 4pm unless we paid a $25 fee for early check-in. We were with a large group trying to make dinner plans the night before a marathon, and the 4pm check-in made dinner reservations more difficult, as well as pushing our pre-race meal later than we preferred. I've traveled quite a bit, and I've never heard of an early check-in fee unless it was before noon. We arrived around 1.
The coffee maker in our room did not work, and we simply did not have time to deal with getting another one. One of the automatic doors at the entrance malfunctioned on Sunday, and it was still non-operational at noon on Monday.
The arcade was fun, and Paradise Pier is worth a visit. I do wish Hippie Fish had been open on Monday - we delayed purchasing anything due to the late dinner and race on Sunday. Definitely appreciate them opening the coffee shop early for the runners on Sunday!
Staff at the desk wasn't the friendliest, but the coffee shop was staffed by great people.
Overall, it's a decent hotel. Will absolutely explore other options on our next trip to Biloxi.
