The doors in this Hotel were malfunctioning and not working. There was one lift! Only one working lift in the whole building that had to accommodate all the residents over the Christmas period plus the housekeeping staff. Those who could manage the stairs would use the stairs because waiting for the lift was just ridiculous. I also need to point out that there was a homeless shelter set up just alongside the hotel, where these unfortunate citizens would be exchanging drug deals. These homeless people would always, frequently hanging around the hotel. These individuals would be in and out I witnessed this not residence of the Hotel I was exasperated by the end of my stay I was worn out. The total lack of empathy for what was happening with the locks and having to travling back and fourth down five floors to get the card to function again, so that I could get into my room. One unfortunate day I took my small doggy out for a walk. I was gone for just over an hour when I came back to my room it had been ransacked. My property had been stolen. I reported this incident to the police reported it to the hotel staff. I had several conversations eventually the manager gave me some of her time, and acknowledged that the locks were not working properly, but there was no sympathy no response to the fact that my property had been stolen. Additionally, I was charged £519 instead of £450 for my stay.

The stay was for one night the hotel was clean but very basic no bar! The receptionist staff were excellent friendly and very helpful! My only concern was that the key card to my room didn’t work I believe it was the sensor on the door these need to be replaced or repaired! But I would stay again because it was great value for money and the staff were excellent

Avoid this horrible place
Checked in and told hadn’t paid. We had. Showed all proof but was basically accused of lying. Finally checked in and the key card didn’t work. Seemed to be a theme as loads of people at the desk with the same issue. Got into the room and it was so filthy and dated we left immediately. Moral of the story is you hey what you pay for! Thankfully we were able to book elsewhere

Budget is definitely the word for it. The staff we spoke to were all fantastic and the location was great for what we wanted, however the room left a lot to be desired. I've seen Amazon boxes thicker than the mattress on the bed and they were probably more comfortable as well. As someone with minor spinal issues the one night there was enough to leave me in a lot of pain for the best part of a week. The shower was adequate as long as you didn't have to turn around at all, and you couldn't swing a cat in the cupboard that the toilet was crammed in too.

Lovely welcome and clean
Welcomed with a warm greeting from the lovely lady who checked us in. Hotel was very clean. The room was ideal for 1 night. Only downside for me was a smell that was coming up through the sink plug hole smelt a bit like the drains which was not great when trying to sleep

When i fell and asked for ice they told me there was none. However 2 hours later when they saw how bad my injuries were someone was able to find some. I will not be staying there again. Breakfast was dreadful
