The vacation home is ideally located as it is right by the fjord, where you can swim or fish. If you are looking for a little more excitement, a boat rental can be arranged directly with the landlord. There are otherwise wonderful hiking opportunities in the area, and for extra challenges, climbing routes in Ursfjellet or the climbing park in Brekstad are recommended to try. For unique experiences you can visit the nature reserve Grandefjæra or one of the other nature reserves in the area. Feel free to visit the "Besøkssenter våtmark" in Brekstad, Austråttborgen, Austrått or one of the Iron Age burial mounds.
