3 large bedrooms plus a loft/ 3.5 bathrooms across three levels. Main level with Cathedral ceiling, Wall switch Stone Fireplace that is super easy to use, Bedroom suite w/ Private attached Bath & half Bath off living-room, covered back Porches spanning the length of the Cabin. Upper level Bedroom suite w/ private balcony & loft for additional sleeping. Terrace level w/ rec room opening out to more covered Porches with Huge Hot Tub! Our cabin is very Dog friendly and very clean; in excellent condition.
This gorgeous cabin is in a private wooded setting, but SUPER easy to get to with paved road just off the highway 5/515. We are literally 2.4 miles from the heart ❤️ of downtown Blue Ridge and the property sits on a private 1.5 acre tree filled lot with thick vegetation surroundings. There are no other homes in view.

We have paid close attention to detail and included the creature comforts you would expect from a higher end cabin rental. You will find luxury linens, supple leather seating, sprawling across the large main floor living area with the second bedroom and open loft above opening to the stacked stone fireplace.

Our cabin is over 2600 square feet of quality built cabin. It is perfect for families or a couple’s getaway with a loved one or your group of friends up to eight. All TV's are smart and equipped with Cable television channels. The upstairs master has a brand new King size bed that overlooks an amazing view. There is a 65" smart TV when its time to unwind. There is a loft with a brand new wrap around couch with recliners for extra sleeping. The downstairs bedroom has a brand new King size bed with a 50" TV and has a full bath. There is a 50"' HD flat screen smart TV in the Living room. If you are a mountain biker, contact us to get the lowdown on the best trails in the area. Adjacent to the porch is a brand new hot tub and propane grill.

☕️ YES, We have a top of the line Keurig coffee maker that makes coffee by the cup or by the pot .

Did I mention the free WiFi? The good 200 mb kind of speed WiFi, not the typical DSL speeds found outside the city limits! Oh, and there is a fire pit. Our reviews speak for themselves! Horseback riding, zip-line through the mountain trees daily train rides 🚂 to see fall foliage, river tubing, hiking trails, world renowned trout fishing 🎣, mountain biking or just a stroll to a waterfall; Blue Ridge and the Ellijay's offer adventure and relaxation everyone will love! Our cabin is just a few miles from everyone's favorite apple picking spots and farms like Mercier's Orchard, and 2 minutes from trailheads. The Appalachian Trail is a short drive away if you want a grand challenge.

If you are traveling with a pet: We do allow two DOGS under 50lbs if you disclose that they will be coming with you to the cabin. Our Pet fee is $60 for your entire stay. We provide a crate/kennel/ food bowls and even some toys for you to use when you are leaving the cabin. PLEASE do not leave your pet loose in our home while you are out! NO CATS allowed, as we are allergic. Have a registered service animal? Please submit your registration card.

What’s provided on site for your stay: Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, cable or satellite TV, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of: Toilet Tissue (2 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, 1- hand soap for each bath and kitchen, dishwasher detergent, dish washing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Great for a Long Weekend Away!
My husband and I spent a long weekend (Friday - Tuesday) at Calico Cabin and enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed to cook a few times, enjoy coffee (we brought our own ground coffee and enjoyed a few pots while there), relax in the hot tub each night, and lounge around. The main bed upstairs was super comfortable and we were able to sleep in (no kids or animals with us!) each day and get a great rest each night. The cabin is just far enough away, but still 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Great location and not too far off the main road. We did have a SUV that worked great to go up and down the gravel road. The porch views were great and we loved spending time on all the levels.

Wonderful Retreat
My family met here for our Thanksgiving holiday. The house was better than the listing. Split in 3 levels so we all had privacy when needed. The owner, Jim, was very communicative and thoughtful. He had the house decorated for the holiday and an extra table with chairs set up to accommodate our family. I would highly recommend this cabin for family vacations.

Comfy & Cozy Cabin
Overall we had a very nice stay at this cabin. It was clean, comfy and cozy! It had the amenities that were listed. It is very dog friendly as well! The host is super nice and quick to respond. The only things that the cabin does not offer is firewood and bbq tools so I would suggest bringing your own. Also, the road leading to the cabin is gravel, steep and rocky. We had no problem but we had an SUV, not sure how a car would do especially if it rains.

We had a great weekend. Cabin was very nice and great location (in the mountains and close to town). You have everythign you need for a great stay. Jim was very easy to communicate with and gave all instructions to make check in and out very easy. We will return.

Honeymoon Hideaway
The Calico Cabin was the perfect place to rest and relax after our wedding. Jim made sure that our stay was phenomenal. The views are amazing and the hot tub is perfect to relax in after a day of hiking. We even saw two bears right outside of the cabin one morning. The road to get to the cabin is very steep, we had a truck so no problem but make sure to be prepared for that.

Nice place!
We enjoyed the quiet and peace. The home was well kept and very clean. The pictures online show a gorgeous view but there wasn’t one sadly. The “road” leading to the property was hard to navigate. We don’t have off road cars so it was scary. It has a pretty steep incline and large divots in the road. We had a nice stay. Thank you very much.

Good times in Blue Mountain!
We had an absolute blast at the Calico Cabin in beautiful Blue Ridge! Blue Ridge, as a town, has all the charm of Gatlinburg with half the crowd. The food was some of the best we have had anywhere and the nightlife was extremely fun. Lots of places to hike and view the beautiful scenery as well as your closeness to the local lake or river for rafting, kayaking or boating. The cabin was sincerely awesome. Plenty of space for just a couples weekend getaway or for any small families on a trip. The house was super clean and tidy and the view was to die for. Two balconies that just can peak over the tree tops to see into Blue Ridge made porch sitting a must. Being 5 minutes from downtown made quick trips into town extremely manageable and easy to navigate around town. Definitely suggest driving an SUV or a vehicle with all-terrain capabilities to make it up the long driveway. Overall LOVED every second there and 10 out 10 would recommend to anybody looking to stay in Blue Ridge!

Fantastic cabin great view
My husband and I stayed over the long July 4th weekend. We were able to bring our poodle with us. The cabin is in a great location very close to Blue Ridge. It has a wonderful view and is very private. It was very clean and had nice furnishings. It even had a dog bed and dog bowls. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Annual Family Trip - Making Memories
I plan an annual vacation with my Children and grandchildren and this by far was the best! The cabin was clean, well equipped and spacious ( all of our needs were met) We were able to get to parks and attractions with ease. The host was attentive and the cabin contains condiments for cooking and games to entertain. The jacuzzi was a hit for my grandson who is autistic! I highly recommend if you are looking to get away to relax and make memories with your family. My favorite thing was the mountain view from bed!

So Glad We Chose the Calico Cabin!
Super fun week in this comfy, well outfitted home. Minutes from recreation, restaurants or whatever grabs your fancy but so warm & welcoming that you may just want to enjoy nature from the deck or around the firepit. Our host provided great tips about the area, anticipating most of our questions pre-arrival & responded quickly once we were there. Super clean, great amenities, we loved it!

Great stay in Blue Ridge
It was our first trip with our 4 month old for a Mother Day getaway. Th experience we had was second to none. Jim answered our questions right away, was very accommodating and the property was great. Definitely would recommend this this experience to anyone who is looking to get away.
