Family trip
We booked this place as we have family nearby and wanted to spend time with them over half-term. It is in a lovely location, in a rural area next to a farm. Good Italian restaurant within walking distance. Sheep and pheasant made a welcoming committee for us! The property is warm with an Aga in the kitchen and has plenty of cozy spots to sit and read or chat. The bed in the master bedroom is enormous and very comfy and the two showers are decent. I think it’s fair to say that the property has seen better days and feels a bit careworn. But that didn’t affect our enjoyment of the location and the trip overall.
