It's the perfect spot for an App State football game, a conference or concert on campus, business trip, or a romantic weekend getaway. All your favorite downtown shops like Mast General Store and restaurants like Mellow Mushroom are steps away. There are only a handful of private, short-term rentals downtown, so don't let this unique opportunity get away!

Great Stay and Location
This was a great place to stay in very convenient location in Boone right off King Street in walking distance of restaurants and shops. The owner had great communication and responded quickly to any questions. I was only planning on staying two nights but got stuck here due to snow and was able to extend my stay another day with ease. Owner was very friendly and was a very clean and nice place to stay. I would come back again and definitely recommend!

Perfect for a short visit.
This is a perfectly adequate place for a quick overnight in Boone, NC. Space was nice with all of the amenities you would expect. Very convenient to just about anything downtown. Walkable, which is great because Boone can be difficult to find parking. Comfortable bed, good shower

Excellent place to stay
The property is very clean, updated, comfortable, and the location is great. The property is tucked back behind a business away from the main street so it is quiet - thank goodness for very good directions from the host who is also very responsive to any questions. I recommend this property and will look for it again on our next visit to Boone.

King Street stay
We stayed here to go to a concert at the Appalachian Theater and it was perfect for a short visit. Outside wasn’t the most appealing but the apartment itself was adorable and nicely equipped. Loved the wood accents. We would stay here again for sure.

The positive...The inside was very cozy, up to date. Excellent bathroom shower area. The kitchen was very nice well equipped. Comfortable, clean pillows and bed. Cute decor. This place is within walking distance of town, all restaurants, shops, etc. Felt very safe. Everything inside is pretty and is as it appears in the photos. The negative...The TV didn't work at all. Couldn't even sign in my own ROKU or any apps. No connection what so ever. There was only a window air conditioner that was fairly loud and blowing right on the bed. The surrounding area directly outside of the property was not very well kept. Had a junky surrounding. There is no covered outside area or porch to sit for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings, if it rains all the outdoor furniture gets wet, besides the surrounding area is just not inviting to look at anyway. If you want any kind of view of town or road front this place doesn't have it, it's located behind some buildings and through an ally way, so there isn't a view of anything except the back of buildings and the small parking area. Over all for the price, this was a good place to stay for one night maybe two.

Overall the place was nice, the only downfalls were there was no AC which made the place hot, even with the windows open, and the complementary coffee/ creamer was expired. Also, they’ve updated the place so the pictures are semi accurate.

Spring visit
Second stay at the property and just as great as the first. Hosted homemade dinners for our freshman, great homebase for hiking (weather cleared at lower altitudes), and enjoyed after-dinner game nights. Will definitely come back again.

Perfect Location
Urban Oasis was perfect all around. Beautiful decor, comfy bed and ideal location to explore downtown Boone and beyond. The host is super friendly and responsive. Check-in was a breeze. Everything inside was top quality and so well thought out. We did not use the kitchen, except for breakfast prep, but the kitchen is well equipped for full meal preparation. Can not recommend this lovely little place enough. It was perfect for us!
