This home is just gorgeous and makes the vacation seem luxurious. I felt very privileged to stay there. It's very spacious, especially the living room, which just soars with the high ceiling and awesome mountain views. The furniture is very comfy, and the gas fireplace burns like a woodburning fireplace. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. There are four levels, so there are lots of stairs to climb, and almost everyone will need to use all four levels, so keep that in mind.
The hot tub on the deck is wonderful. Pretty private, with mountain views. Quiet.
The house is very quiet since it's literally at the end of Lincoln. It's on the north end of town, so it's close to the gondola and the big grocery store, City Market, which you can walk to on a nice day. Main Street is just a few blocks away, so you can walk downtown. You can get on the Blue Line shuttle at Lincoln and French St., and you can get off at the Village just 5-10 min later, where there are lots of shops and restaurants and ski rental places and Peak 9's Quicksilver Lift. (Note: from French St., Lincoln is uphill all the way to the house, which is not fun in ski boots at the end of the day! But the destination is worth the effort!)
We had only a couple of minor complaints (e.g., the pillows), but overall, this property is grand and beautiful, and we would not hesitate to stay there again, nor would we hesitate to recommend it! It's the kind of place that makes you say wistfully, "Goodbye, house" when you leave.
