Viehättävä Dorset-mökki.

Berry Farm Cottage kätkeytyy yksityisellä alueella Berry Farm -alueella, joka juontaa juurensa 1500-luvulta. Se sijaitsee viehättävässä Walditchin suojelukylässä, joka mainitaan Domesday-kirjassa vuodelta 1086. Saapuessasi ymmärrät ehdottomasti, miksi koko tämä alue on nimetty erinomaisen luonnonkauneuden alueeksi.

Suosittu Bridport -kaupunkikaupunki, jossa on upea taiteenäkymä, itsenäiset kaupat, vintage-kortteli ja monia baareja ja ravintoloita, on vain yhden mailin päässä. Ja mitä rannalle? Maailmanperintöluokan Jurassic Coast ja kuuluisa West Bay (ITV-draaman Broadchurch) ovat vain 2. 5 mailin päässä.

Mökki itsessään sijaitsee päärakennuksesta omissa yksityisissä tiloissaan. Siellä on 1 200 neliömetrin (0,3 hehtaarin) hedelmätarhapuutarha, johon kuuluu 18 omena-, kirsikka- ja luumupuuta, sekä ulkoterassi, jossa on pöytä ja tuolit.

Tämän maaseudun tunteen lisäämiseksi tämän suuren puutarhan vieressä on pelto, jossa (normaalisti) tammi-maaliskuun lisäksi on lammaslauma - vastasyntyneiden karitsojen saapuessa keväällä! (Huomaa, että koska tämä ei ole lammaslaumme, emme voi ehdottomasti taata aikoja, jotka he ovat kentällä). Älä myöskään ole yllättynyt, jos näet outoja hirviä puutarhassa.

Mökki on hiljattain kunnostettu kokonaan sisäisesti kiinnittäen erityistä huomiota yksityiskohtiin, jotta saataisiin ihana, viihtyisä maalaistalo, jossa on monia tyylikkäitä ja omituisia yksityiskohtia.

Siellä on 2 makuuhuonetta (1 parivuode ensimmäisessä kerroksessa ja 1 yhden hengen kerroksessa) ja jokaisella on oma kylpyhuone suihkulla. Pyyhkeet ja liinavaatteiden vaihto tehdään viikoittain.

Avoimessa olohuoneessa on kaksi tuplasohvaa, taulutelevisio, DVD-soitin, hyllyillä, kirjoja, DVD: tä ja pelejä. Kaksoisikkunat antavat valoisan ja ilmavan tunnelman ympäri vuoden. Takka on sähköinen ja tarjoaa realistisen näköisen tulen kylmemmiksi talviöiksi.

Ruokailutila on bistro-tyyli, ja valittavana ylävalaisimen, kuvavalojen ja ympäröivän LED-nauhan avulla, tämä voidaan valaista eri tavoin jokaista ateriaa kohden!

Viereinen keittiö on täysin varustettu uuni ja astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni, vedenkeitin ja täysi tarvike astiat, ruokailuvälineet ja lasit.

Pohjakerroksen kodinhoitohuoneessa on pesukone ja pakastin.

Mökin vieressä on yksityinen pysäköintialue kahdelle ajoneuvolle.

Huomaa, että Berry Farm ei ole toimiva maatila.
Tämä mökki on saanut hyvää palautetta majoituspaikan yleiskunnosta. Majoituspaikka sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Bridport Tourist Information Centre. Mökissä tarjoaa ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Charming cottage near Bridport and Jurassic Coast
Immaculate and very stylish. Four adults enjoyed a great weekend due to the very thoughtful use of space. Too wet to take advantage of number of walks direct from door, a one hour touring radius covered to the East Lulworth Cove, Portland Bill, to the West Lyme Regis and Sidmouth to the North Sherborne. Closer to home Abbotsbury, Chesil Beach, West Bay and Bridport itself with interesting independent shops, lively pubs and very good range of restaurants. Our hosts were on hand but discreet. What’s not to like.

Fantastic garden!
A great, well maintained cottage but the real highlight was the massive, private garden. Perfect for a picnic and prosecco in the evening. Would definitely stay here again, the welcome book was also incredibly comprehensive - much to do in the surrounding area!

Berry Farm Cottage is a real home from home! Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with an eclectic and stylish mix of furniture, furnishings and ornaments, it has everything you need, well equipped, well thought out and with a lovely surprise of a welcome hamper on arrival. Great location close to the shops in Bridport and close to the sea and major sites in this lovely part of Dorset. Mike and Neil have an eye for detail and one or both of them have that creative streak that makes this holiday cottage a big step up from the norm? We had a wonderful week. This part of Dorset is perfect. As was the cottage. Set in a small village with easy access to Bridport and all of the lovely costal towns and beaches. The cottage has everything you could ever want. We will return.

Neil & Mike are most gracious and generous, for sharing their scenic cottage in West Dorset. Beautifully maintained home from home, lovely garden looking onto a Farmers field that had sheep and newly born lambs, and a delightful morning chorus of birds to wake up to. Very close to Bridport and plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Neil was a charming host loved the many thoughtful little touches around the interior of the cottage. information booklets about Dorset and local walks, flowers , welcome basket , fresh milk in the fridge and little Easter chicks to find in every nook and cranny . Thank you Neil , we really enjoyed our stay . And hope we will return some time soon.

Beautiful peaceful cottage
The communication with the owner was excellent and the quality cleanliness, character and comfort of the cottage exceeded expectations. The area is great for walking and Bridport is very interesting ( as are number of nearby places) with lots of independent shops and is a very pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk. The location of the cottage is very nice and quiet with its own lovely paddock sized garden. We slept very well and woke to sound of birds singing in the morning.

From start to finish the process and communication was very easy. The cottage is beautiful, we had a personal welcome message from the owners on arrival. Lovely Dorset cottage in peaceful rural location near Bridport
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Berry Farm Cottage: a characterful, very well laid-out and decorated, comfortable home in a beautiful, peaceful apple orchard setting. The location in a pretty Dorset village just outside Bridport was perfect for us in exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast and inland the rolling hills of West Dorset. Beautiful walks from the door. Neil and Mike could not have been more kind and helpful in their welcome and making our stay in enjoyable. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Berry Farm Cottage. The accommodation has everything you need for a relaxing week and the garden was beautiful with just the relaxing sound of birds and the occasional sheep! We would definitely visit again.

A beautiful cottage
This is a beautiful cottage set in a lovely hamlet just outside Bridport. It has some lovely walks nearby and we used it as a base to cover a large area of Dorset from Lyme Regis in the West through to Lulwoth Cove in the East. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and very well equipped with everything that you would expect and an excellent “black book” with all the information that you need with great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat both locally and those slightly further out. It was ideal accommodation for us as two couples but would be equally good for a family with two children. Overall we would thoroughly recommend staying here. Neil and Mike, the owners, live across the drive and were there if we needed any advice or information. Their welcome basket of wine and nibbles were very gratefully received and if you are looking for a tranquil stay with easy access to some wonderful places then this cottage is absolutely ideal!

4 go mad in Dorset!
A lovely house in a lovely village in our favourite part of Dorset. The house is very well- equipped and stocked with kitchen essentials. The weather was perfect so we were able to enjoy the garden and orchard every day on our return from sightseeing. The ‘welcome’ board was a nice touch. Good communication with Neil and Mike before and during our stay. Would love to return!
