Excellent rooms and pool for the money. Staff are excellent. The food in the bar area ie. toasties fish and chips and club sandwiches are below par for the hotel. Otherwise we had an excellent time.

Location was excellent, Botanical Gardens just across road and close to City Centre, City Cat and Pedestrian Bridge to South Bank. Only disappointing point was the Xmas Lunch. Two of our Adult daughters are Vegan, but we couldn't get an answer from the Catering Manager as to what food they would expect for Lunch but he didn't want to know about it. Our food was very good, although 3 Courses instead of 4 would be sufficient. The Vegans had half a can of chick peas as an Entree and Main was half an Eggplant, so no Value at all for them, considering the prices charged.

We spent $400 on Christmas lunch then weren't allowed a drink in the bar without buying food a couple of hours later. Not just a snack either. Not impressed. When you are staying in the hotel it should all be taken into account.

Amazing. A large chunk of prime Brisbane land bordering the Botanical Gardens and river walks, yes casually and elegantly placed in defiance of the surrounding very tall buildings. Easy on-site covered parking was included with our room rate, along with a hot cold breakfast buffet that beats all others. Comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Yet literally steps from the gardens, and a very short walk to shopping in the heart of the city. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, no need to compare with any others. We did go for the top floor Park Suite, which made a great stay unbelievably even better. Highly Recommended!
