The Romantic Retreat at Rivers Bend Resort is remote, nestled on the banks of the Glover River. The Resort has been featured in Southern Living, Where to stay in Oklahoma, Dallas Morning News just to mention some of the accolades. Romantic Retreat is located on the waters edge and canoes are provided. Horseback riding is just minutes away at River Man Trail Rides. If Horseback riding isn't your thing they offer family wagon trips. Crystal rock collecting is popular at the resort as well. Canoeing for the adventurous just bring your life jacket. Fishing, swimming, horseshoes, volleyball, playground and other amenities await you on the ranch. Check in is at 3:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 am. Please check you confirmation email for more information. Owner operated and managed. We are remote. However, if Southern Living, Dallas Morning News and Oklahoma Today can find us so can you! Upon booking your reservation we will send you a detailed map.

Perfect Getaway Cabin
The couples retreat cabin is a little far down, but with all the deer sightings and beautiful scenery, it's worth the drive! Perfect use of space made the cabin comfortable and cozy. The decor is absolutely precious! We will absolutely be back!

Awesome experience!
We had a mishap with some wasp, but the owner was extremely responsive and accommodating. They relocated us to a bigger cabin immediately, and their staff showed up in less than 30 minutes to check the situation and make sure we were okay. 10/10 would recommend. It was a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay.

Nicely secluded
It was a nice place for our 42nd wedding anniversary. The hot tub water smelled a little but it wasn't dirty. I think their water supply is what made it smell because the sink water smelled that way also. Grab everything you need before you get there. Long drive to town. We may rent the bigger houses for the whole extended families yearly trip.

Just a few things
The cabin was very very clean! Wonderful. only two things, 1) didn't realize is was so far back off the main road. It did say 3 miles, but seems longer as the roads are terrible! Gate wouldn't work one night, had to walk around and push button. working the next day. My main issue was there is no shower. Yes you can use the spray on the tub, but tub is quite slick and I almost fell. All in all, the view was awesome, fire pit, great, deck great. the Canoes were there but you cant put in the water by the cabin. and then, if you do, how do you get back to the Cabin? never figured it out but it was kinda cold and rainy all weeknd. Thanks so much.

Quiet & Secluded Getaway
I took a few days to get away and have some time to myself. The property was beautiful and so peaceful and quiet. It was just what I needed. The cabin was nice and clean- had everything I needed. My only note would be that there is not a traditional shower... just a detachable hose in the whirlpool bath. Other than that, it was a great stay!
