Tämä kauniisti rakennettu moderni kiinteistö on suoraan vastapäätä yhtä Findochtyn parhaimmista yksinäisistä hiekkarannoista, ja sieltä on upeat näkymät Moray Firtsiin. 1800-luvulla kalastus toteutettiin tästä luonnollisesta sisääntulosta. Täältä myös James Clarke Hook maalasi kuuluisan maalauksen Home With The Tide, joka roikkuu tällä hetkellä Tate-galleriassa. Talo tarjoaa täydellisen paikan rentoutumiseen ja rentoutumiseen. Vietä hetki vaeltaaksesi historiallisten kalastuskatujen läpi ja kävellä pitkin venesatamaa katsomassa sen pyöräily- ja huviveneitä, siirry sitten kallion yläosaan ottamaan panoraamanäkymät tai jopa paikan delfiinejä katsomassa! Lähistöllä on myös muita rantoja helpon kävelymatkan päässä ja mahdollisuuksia aktiivisempaan pyöräilyyn, golfiin ja purjehdukseen.

Fantastic stay in beautiful area in cosy house
My partner, friend, and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming house in the lovely fishing town of Findochty over the New Year period, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house itself was beautiful, well-maintained, and offered stunning views of the sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the sight of the ocean was truly magical.The location was perfect for our needs, providing a peaceful and picturesque setting while still being close to local amenities. We enjoyed exploring the town and the surrounding area, which offered plenty of opportunities for scenic walks and relaxation.Our hosts were fantastic—responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They provided us with all the information we needed for a comfortable stay, and their attention to detail was evident throughout the house. We felt very well taken care of.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway in Scotland. Thank you for making our New Year special!

As soon as I arrived the cottage felt very warm and welcoming. Everything I needed was there. The owner was always very responsive to my silly questions. I can highly recommend a stay here especially for families as it’s a very spacious property will hopefully be returning some time in 2025

Arrived in darkness to find a lovely dwelling by the coast. Clean with plenty of space. There was a small issue with the boiler/heating but this was quickly resolved; and we were offered a later check-out or an extra night. We took the later! No issues - the weather wasn't great so we were limited in where we could get to but to be expected that far north in November!

Great cottage
This was a lovely cottage in a fantastic location. The cottage was spotless and fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The view from the living room window of the beach across the road was great and we even watched a pod of dolphins swim by. I highly recommend this cottage.

So sorry to leave
We have stayed at this cottage many times and love it. It's location is excellent with great views and a small beach and green very close so you don't miss not having a garden. We had many get togethers with friends and family just outside our front door. Children really love it. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners are friendly, helpful and always respond promptly. The area has loads of places to visit and great walks. The local people are lovely and friendly too. We are always sorry to leave but know we will be back.

This cottage is very clean, light and airy. The view from the front door is fantastic. Findochty is a lovely area, a general store and pub, serving lovely food, are very near. The surrounding area has some beautiful beaches too. A lovely location and cottage that I hope to return to soon

Ein Traumhaus mit einmalig schönem Blick aus jedem Fenster. Die Bilder in der Anzeige sind absolut real. Eine sandige Badebucht mit Picknicktischen direkt vor der Haustür. Pittoreske Felsen, täglicher Sonnenuntergang inclusive, diverse Wander-/Spazierwege vor der Haustür, viele Ausflüge mit kurzer Anfahrt. Dorfkonsum zu Fuß, Supermarkt mit kurzer Anfahrt.Toll ausgestattete Küche in der nichts fehlt. Auch Handtücher & Bettwäsche sind incl. und schön. Ein paar Bücher und Spiele dürfen benutzt werden. Die Gastgeber sind großzügig und hilfsbereit. Die Küste war eine Entdeckung! Für uns war alles rundherum perfekt.

Sehr schöne Lage
Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter, hat nur 2x kurz genieselt. Findochty ist einen gute Ausgangslage um die Küste links und rechts von Ihr zu erforschen. Das Haus war sauber und man ist wirklich direkt am Meer. Wer Trubel sucht, ist hier falsch. Es ist sehr ruhig, was wir aber sehr genossen haben. Es gibt gibt sehr gute Restaurants in der Nähe, und ein grosses Einkaufszentrum.

Lovely cottage in lovely place
Clean, quiet cottage with marvellous views. Kitchen large and well equipped. Beds and settees comfy. Good base for walking the coastal path. Would like to come back. Only negative was the one very small bath towel each and no individual hand towels, or dishcloth.

Stayed with my husband and his brother for four nights. Very comfortable house in beautiful location. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Only minor problem was bathroom door kept sticking but I’m sure this will be resolved.
