Hummingbird House is a completely updated home in the Farmhouse style located on constant level LBJ inlet/ no wake cove located in a friendly neighborhood. The completely updated kitchen is fully equipped and overlooks the large living room. The living room features a large sectional and 50 in TV. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with a French Farmhouse feel. The Cove is perfect for floating, paddle boarding, paddle boating, kayaking away from the waves of the open water. The lakefront is perfect for fishing or just relaxing under the shade trees. Bring your boat or rent a boat the action-packed open water is minutes away. Launch your boat from the nearby boat launch and park it at our boat dock equipped with bumper guards. The large dock is perfect for fishing, other water activities or looking at the stars at night. Whether you want a laid-back vacation of relaxation, kayaking and paddle boarding or minutes away from an action-packed weekend of boating on the open water our special property is perfect for your vacation!!

Perfect weekend getaway
This was the perfect place for our family of 6. Kids ranging from 5-11. It was a quiet little getaway with water activities that kept everyone entertained and contained since it was off the main water way. The hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing were nice and relaxing activities after a long day of exploring the State Parks in the area. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Grocery store was 7-8 minutes away. Heating and AC worked well. Our kids wanted to go explore Enchanted Rock again so we can down mainly for that. We also stopped by Inner Space Caverns, and Inks Lake state park. There is so much to do around here that we could have stayed longer.

We had the best time at this lake house! Cannot recommend enough! From its well appointed kitchen, beautiful views, lake toys and hot tub to the comfortable beds… all of it was fantastic! Jimmy is great to work with and is so helpful!

Great house in the country with great views!
The house was plenty big for a family and friends. There is a hot tub that looks over the water. The house is in a cove with access to the river. Best part is you can fish and take out the paddle boards and kayaks in the cove and then make your way to the river. The owner was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

The reason it’s 10 out of 10
Everything you see is what you get. No surprises and easy to sit back and relax. The kitchen has a good amount of useful stuff and they even go as far as to stock fresh water/ ice/ coffee /wood /charcoal for the pit. The grounds were nicely maintained. The only downside for us personally is going down to the lake front- and only because knee issues so consider this as a con when renting for older people. I am certainly in favor of visiting again. Great host~ lovely lake house!

House came with all of the amenities advertised and everything we wanted. Very relaxing place for our group of 8 adults. The lake is very calm and peaceful just a few yards from the house. We definitely enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards.

Great place to float in a no wake zone just off Lake LBJ! Cell phone service is limited at best but wifi if great. A short drive to town if you need anything. A quiet neighbor where everyone is extremely nice. Owner is next door if you need him, and he was extremely helpful.

Perfect Place
We stayed here for the total solar eclipse in April 2024. Our host was cordial, polite and helpful. We had so much fun. We used the big barbeque for dinner one night. The huge patio looks out on the water. It is perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. We had a great time using the kayaks and paddle boards. We could not have had a better time. I recommend this place 100%.

French country lake fun!
Friends spring break vacation with adults and preteens/teens. The house was beautifully decorated in a French Country style that made us feel like we were in another country. So detailed! Lots of space for the 8 of us. Never felt cramped. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, better than expected cookware and appliances. There were 4 kayaks and a couple paddle boards, plenty for our group to enjoy. We loved sitting down by the water watching geese on the little island across the water. The owner is so helpful and considerate. Locally we enjoyed the Longhorn Caverns and The Burnet County historic jail and square was such a fun outing. We would stay again!

Great extended weekend with family. The house is amazing and beautiful views of the cove. Jimmy was there for anything we needed. The house was stocked with everything we need to cook out many times.Rented a boat that was delivered and easy to drive. Family loved the hot tub and fishing off the dock. Great back porch for enjoying the beauty of the water.

This property is a gem. There is so much to do within minutes - Inks Lake St Park and Longhorn cavern and anything on Lake LBJ. We always looked forward to relaxing at the house in the afternoons, whether it was kayaking or paddle boarding in the quiet cove, taking a dip in the hot tub, or enjoying the comfortable beds for a quick nap. Two hidden gems nearby: Nightingale Archeological Center and Schaefer’s Bend LCRA Park with beaches along the Colorado River. Hiking Enchanted Rock is also worth the drive! The house was fairly baby and toddler proof and even had a toddler play table. This was our family’s first time visiting this area of Texas and after staying here we’ll definitely be back!

The stay at the waterfront farm house was amazing. The property manager goes out of their way to help with any needs you have and the house is in amazing condition. There is so much to do and entertain. The house makes you feel extremely relaxed and comfortable, exactly how a vacation should be. Rate 10/10 and recommend to anyone!

We love this little get away! This little house has everything we need. I love the little reading nook in the living room. The patio is so peaceful and the fish were biting! And despite temperatures of 100+, the inside stayed really nice and cool inside.We love it here!

Peaceful and relaxing
Our family had a great stay! The home was so comfortable and perfect for our holiday weekend with cousins. Jimmy was very helpful making sure we had everything we needed and made sure we launched our boat with ease and got settled. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need which made breakfasts and dinners effortless. We loved having coffee in the mornings on the porch and drinks in the evenings. Kids were entertained for hours by the paddle boards in the protected cove. We enjoyed checking out Lake LBJ and all the beauty it has to offer. The home was a perfectly comfortable place to rest after a long day on the water. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We will be back!

Do not pass this place up! We felt like we had truly gotten away, but we had only traveled 39 minutes from home! The Hummingbird Cottage is perfect! Lots of room, fantastic amenities, a lovely open kitchen, a massive patio, stunning views and a gracious host! We are already planning our next weekend here.
