Good base for Exploring N Ire

Pros: Bushmills is a good central location for exploring from.
Cons: Could maybe do with a few minor repairs and touch ups (repaint a few walls, fix the odd blind which isn't working etc). Overall, good condition.
Location: Close to Bushmills distillery, Giant's Causeway, Portrush, Coleraine, Ballymoney. Derry about an hour away. Belfast just over an hour.
Overall, the accommodation was very good and met most of our expectations. It was safe, secure, warm, quiet (the odd car noise from the nearby main road) and was an very good base to explore the North part of Northern Ireland. Free wifi was very useful.

Bushmills

Pros: Clean and ideal for a family travelling.Self catering with living space and clean beds.Ideal for coming back to after being out exploring all day.
Cons: No reception so Arrange to get a key.We were left outside building with no signage/ phone number for 85 mins Hob didn't work as per instructions.
Location: Bushmills Distillery, Giants Causeway,The Dark Hedges,...Fantastic array of things to do and see.Belfast Titanic not far away. Ballycastle beach.
Lovely place to visit. Giants CausewayWorld heritage site close by with Bushmills and Dark Hedges. We were there for two short days .You would need more time to properly enjoy what could be a magical and unforgettable experience. Unfortunately we were left outside the property for 85 mins while we tried to contact a less than helpful owner who had forgotten to leave the keys in the key lock and who hung up as I tried to explain this .Only for the two shop girls in Lillies Coffee Shop who went out of their way to help us with internet coverage and to make contact with the owner we would have had no place to stay that night.Another guest had received an email with key instructions.We were sent a voice message by the owners wife to my phone but on checking my logs no such message was evident.I received no communication.I'm sure this was a slip up!!! The owners parents came on the morning we were leaving and they could not have been nicer or more apologetic. The property was otherwise clean, well run and ideal for a family of five travelling.Lots to do in the area.
