The staff is amazing and the breakfast was delicious. It was safe and cheap. The bed was horrible, our view was of a dump, and we were overall disappointed.
Check-in process was nonsense. We were initially denied our room even though we had pre-paid for it in Expedia. The clerk wanted proof from me it was paid. Luckily I had the receipt with me, but this was unacceptable to the clerk. He wanted to see that it had been charged and paid for to a credit card. Couldn't he have simply called Expedia if he wanted "proof"? For some reason, he accepted an email confirmation from Expedia instead (which had even LESS information than the receipt). Aggravating, unreasonable, stressful and unnecessary. I've had over 300+ hotel stays and this is a first. Can't recommend, and if you do decide to complete your stay, make sure to have everything printed (emails, receipts, etc.) and ensure you can call Expedia if there are issues.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room is small and the breakfast is not the best quality, but you get what you pay for.
Overall a good place if you need to stay one night in Cancun to leave to get a flight or take the ferry to Isla Mujeres.
Cleanliness was really terrible. The bed sheets were not changed between guests

The pool upstairs and the breakfast was great. Very nice attendant
The property was overall great. The location was great too. loved walking in nearby areas The breakfast was nice too. The swimming pool like tub at the roof adds a uniqueness to the property.
I’ll start off by saying this was my first trip too Cancún. The local area is considered downtown Cancún. Which is surrounded near restaurants, and shopping malls. It isn’t the same feel as compared to the resorts part of town. A lot of locals live nearby and therefore i didn’t quite feel safe the first day of my stay. The hotel itself is nice, and the pool on the top roof is pretty nice as well. The room was spacious for me and the bed very comfy. The owner Felipe was very nice, and helpful. Thank god i speak Spanish for easier communication. Two things i didn’t like about the stay was 1). Out if the three nights i stayed i only took a shower with hot water one of the nights. 2). There was no iron for me to iron my clothes with was annoying cause for the price of the stay she should have at least include that.
Outstanding service by Filipe and his staff. Good value for this nicely updated small hotel property. Daily rooftop breakfast was terrific. Other than weak wifi, had a great experience.
