The VIP just meant we were "treated" to a timeshare presentation. The food allergens were not marked (they had been on prior visits to this resort) and the food quality itself was not as high as on some prior visits (we have stayed here since 2015).

Property is great, food options are ok and there are options for families with kids, which was the purpose of me staying here. However, the wait for food is ridiculous, especially the lunch options. Waiting more than 30 minutes for lunch is unacceptable. Additionally, the restaurants don't open at the time they have posted. The last day we planned on having food at the mexican restaurant before heading to the airport. 20 minutes later, the chef hadn't not arrived and we left. They need more staff and I highly suggest a better attention to all of their guests. We stayed at 3 hotels during our week in Mexico, and this hotel had the least friendly/welcoming/attentive staff.

The rooms are too smelly on the moisture the beach chairs are all broken. The most of the time we stayed on the pool, but the workers are Enrrique,Arturo and the lady in a coffee shop with a glasses I can’t remember the name and outside is very clean

Everything and everyone exceptional !!! Starting from the greeting of the doorman, luggage carrier, front desk, concierge to housekeepers, minibar, room service,room maintenance to hostess, waiters, bartenders and hotel maintenance all so kind, helpful and overall so clean. Food was very delicious and all the cooks that are cooking for you on the side grills of the buffet very friendly also and kind. Also all the chiefs in the outer restaurants around the pool and ocean front including the attendants are exception!!! We were there for ten days and no complaints on anything!! Hope to be back soon !!! :)

I stayed here for a week and I am happy with the property, hotel room and amenities. It matched the expectations with clean and nice view room, beautiful beach and pool areas. however there is a big downside on Foods and services. It has very limited options in all 3 ala carte restaurants and food quality is not adequate. Lunch options are very limited with tasteless junkies and long waiting queue. Drinks are also tasteless and feel like sugar syrups. If you are going only for food and drinks then this is not for you.

Pool was closed a bit earlier than expected. Must say food and beverages were good!! Location of the hotel was perfect for us. I requested one king sized bed with an ocean view when I was booking our suite but got there and there were 2 single beds, that would be the most unpleasant part of our stay. Everything else was fine, would definitely be going back and recommend to anyone interested to stay at the Wyndham. I would advise calling the Hotel before arriving to ensure that one’s needs are met and what was advertised and paid for is received

The staff at the Wyndham Grand were amazing! They remember you, interact with you, joke around and are just so much fun! We never 'wanted' for anything. Nothing was ever too much of an ask. They would ask questions so they could let us know about different things (food, drinks, activities etc) that were available. We especially loved Floriberto in the taco cafe out by the pool!
