They had a hockey tourney the weekend I was there so was full of kids especially in the pool area, but otherwise quite clean Breakfast was nice. Staff is helpful

Aside from the sofa bed, which was a bit squeaky and slightly uncomfortable, and there wasn't a change room for the swimming pool, everything else was good.

For the amount of money it was not worth it. The shampoo was not filled in our room. The drain in the bathtub didnt drain properly. Our door was broken. There was also a hockey team and the families that took over and had no respect for the other patrons and the hotel did not do anything about it

Staff were nice & hotel is easy to access from the highway and has good outdoor parking. It’s not that close to “downtown” but Canmore is small so no big deal. Inside, however the hotel is showing its age. Everything felt a bit worn out. The heater in our room was especially in need of an upgrade. It was so loud - it turned on and off all night long to maintain the heat and it sounded like an open car window on the highway whenever it was on. The fireplace didn’t work. The room was not very soundproof. You can hear everything going on outside the door & people walking above. You can even hear kids playing in the pool which was something as we were on the 3rd floor and the noise travels through the window from the pool portion of the building, which is set apart from the main building. We arrived about 30 min before check-in and our room was not ready. I think they were rushing a bit to get it clean as it was quite dusty when we arrived, a light was burnt out and there was a hair in the tub. We called about the light & they replaced it right away. When we mentioned the cleaning the next day, they were ready to have someone clean it 1st thing, but we opted to live with it as they don’t have room safes. The staff kindly noted they have a safe in the front office but we thought it would be too much of a hassle as we were already headed out. They have a continental breakfast with lots of decent options, which is nice for families. All in, it’s an average hotel due for a refresh.

The room was comfortable and a good size. Bed was very good. Our kids loved the swimming pool and the long hours it was open.

Stayed in the basement rooms which were outdated and hairs all over the pillows. They asked if we wanted to stay on the main floor for $20 but said the only difference was the stairs. We saw later from outside the rooms looked much nicer wish we would’ve known that. The pool wanted burned your eyes as well. Overall not terrible but for $300 not the greatest and wouldn’t stay again.
