Magnificent lake & hill country views

The main level has 2 large bedrooms with queen beds. One has an on-suite bath, and the other has a full bath across the hall. The second level downstairs takes you to the Canyon Sky deck and pool area. Downstairs also meets you with the main master bedroom with king bed and full bath and a relaxing, 8 jet hydrotherapy tub. There is another large bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom and an attached bonus "bunk room" has a sharing hallway to above bedroom with bunkbeds and Play Station 4, with games. All bedrooms have new flat screen TV's and most have DVD players. The home is beautifully decorated and luxurious linens, pillows and bedding are provided.

Entrance

No fumbling with keys. Canyon Sky has an open front patio area with keyless entry system. See the Wave Runner on deck! Inside, the immediate view of the lake is awesome! The first-floor level has stunning lake views. The open concept layout has plenty of space and is freshly furnished throughout. Decorated charming country chic and comfortable. The gas fireplace gives the home a cozy, comfy feel, especially on those occasional chilly Hill Country evenings. The living room is open and bright with the natural light streaming in through the large windows and a smart 55" TV (with cable & DVD player) and Bluetooth sound bar that you can enjoy your own music on. An adjoining game room with foosball and gaming tables will keep you entertained indoors. Also, an additional Retro refrigerator / freezer for more cold food.

Sky Lounge & Pool

The Canyon Sky deck is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and watch the sun rise across the lake. At night, sit back with a glass of wine and watch the Milky Way appear as the moon reflects off the water of the lake. Sit at the bar made of repurposed wood from a 1940's wooden hospital in Seguin & enjoy a beverage. Enjoy the 2nd story private pool overlooking the lake for a swim!

Silo Outdoor Kitchen & Bar

Put on your apron and fire up the grill in the repurposed grain Silo outdoor kitchen. This is a great place to spend time with friends and slow smoke a brisket on the brand new smoker or BBQ for the family or maybe hamburgers for lunch! Three different grills for your pleasure to choose from. Coffee table book on how to perfectly smoke a brisket!

Family vacation
We had our kids and grandkids and dogs. It was perfect for all ages. Games, puzzles, pac-man, cards, pool, dog toys, beach towels, and great view. All the amenities you needed. Fantastic place.

Relaxing stay
Beautiful property and view. Host provided a lot of fun games to play, inside and at the pool. Only struggle was the stairs - I use a walker and wasn't expecting the amount of stairs I needed to navigate. I made it work and my family had a wonderful time. Only regret - we couldn't stay longer due to work.

Don't think too much about it!
This is a great place with a beautiful view! They were very communicative, fast to respond, very clean and organized. One of my best vrbo experiences! I can honestly say its a beautiful place to visit, you won't regret it. I can't say anything negative about this place as its was a very spacious for my party and everything was clean, the beds are really comfortable and everything was great. Highly recommend
Wonderful place to stay, everyone loved it. We were there for the eclipse, which unfortunately was clouded over, but we had such a good time in the pool, no one was disappointed! We had the pool heated, which was well worth it. There were amenities galore throughout the house. We bbqed, watched the Dodger game by the pool, played cards at the card table, watched our granddaughter start to learn to swim, enjoyed the view of an amazing lightning storm at night and lounged around in the provided robes in the master bedroom! It was such a relaxing 4 days on an otherwise busy road trip. Jessie and Linda were super attentive via email and text, answering any questions in a timely manner and helping us through the change in management prior to our visit.

Excellent house, view, and extra amenities!
Our five couples absolutely loved this house, outdoor area, and VIEW! Just beautiful. The view is actually more beautiful than the photos on the listing. The kitchen was fully stocked for anything we’d have needed. There is an ice cream shake bar (ice cream left for us to eat by owners) and a fully stocked coffee bar, Keurig and drip. The outdoor hangout and cooking area had propane and charcoal provided. Excellent attention to details on little extras of amenities throughout the house and bathrooms. House was super clean overall. We also took advantage of the extra option of heating the pool. So nice. Communication with the owners was the best we’ve had, and that says a lot! There were only two issues we encountered that we feel as a group should be mentioned for future guests: 1. The house has many different floor levels, types of flooring, and slight changes in heights of flooring that are trip hazards. We are 30- and 40-somethings so it was ok, but there are definitely subsets of people who could not safely stay here. And 2. The 4th and 5th bedroom “share a space.” While the 5th bedroom does have a door, the 4th bedroom does not have a door that they can close between it and the 5th bedroom. Luckily for us, we have a great group of friends who were able to adapt, but it could definitely have been a problem with a different set of friends / family. Of the five couples, all five would stay here again!

Much Needed Family Time
There is so much to like about this house and its location. The view is incredible, the pool and deck area are outstanding, the beds are so comfortable, and the amenities for a family with children, and an infant are appreciated. It could use a larger refrigerator, as we had very little use for the freezer section of the refrigerator. We certainly had a lot of food for the 12 of us and the refrigerator was packed. We made it work by using a large ice chest on the porch, but at 109° Outside, we had to get out to purchase ice quite often. Thank you for a Wonderful place.

A hot time of year at the lake
Let me start by saying it was over 100 degrees everyday of our visit. This fact impacted our ability to enjoy Canyon Lake to the fullest. The lake was also 12-14 feet low so it was not as fun as it could have been, but all in all we enjoyed our stay. The property has been updated, but parts are much older than the newest sections. I would compare this to a 3 star hotel - nothing wrong with it, but not luxurious at all. We got off to a rocky start - the main a/c went out just as we arrived on Sunday afternoon. The property manager was able to get a technician that day, but it took 2 hours and the building was 85 degrees by the time he got it fixed. We also had trouble with a bathroom fixture and toilet. The handyman worked for 3 hours but finally got things back to working order. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and did well as long as we limited the number of cooks to 2.It is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, and glassware. Our party of 12 was never short and we ran the dishwasher at least once every day. The outdoor grill area is well stocked also. Gas, wood, and charcoal are all useable. We all enjoyed having a pool - it is the only thing that saved our vacation. We had kids in the pool every day and sometimes twice. In summary, we enjoyed this trip to Canyon Lake.

Highly Recommend Weekend Getaway
This property and management team are great! First, this property did not disappoint when it came to the location, amenities, and view…oh that view! The pool and back patio were the main highlights for my group. From the sweeping high country views, to the perfectly sized and positioned pool, this property provided exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. Secondly, the property manager (Sara), was very proactive in her communication and timely in her responses when we had small needs arise. (Propane ran out for the gas grill, which she quickly pointed us to a backup tank located on the property) In conclusion, I highly recommend this vacation home to others looking for a well-managed VRBO property, that exceeded my group’s and my expectations!

We all enjoyed our stay here. All had a great time. The only “negatives” if you want to call them that were the air conditioner quit working but was fixed within a couple hours. The dishwasher didn’t wash very well and had to hand wash a lot of the items. The counter ice machine did not work. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. Would stay again.

Lovely Pool with a View!
Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this lake cabin!! Close to lake activities, beautiful pool with a view, and house was wonderful!

Beautiful views, very nice property
The property has beautiful views and is well set up for one or two families. Plenty of room, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes, and the pool was very refreshing in the 100+ F heat! We had a great stay.

Beautiful views
The outside pool area was amazing for our group! Beds and linens were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We did run out of toilet paper and dishwasher pods but that wasn’t a huge inconvenience. Overall this rental is very impressive. Plenty of space for a large group.
