The holiday apartment is in the basement of a private residential house, in the centre of Cardedu, a picturesque little village on the east coast of Sardinia.

Cars can be parked free of charge on the street in front of the house.

The apartment was completed in 2016 and is ideal for up to four people. The spacious living room-kitchen comprises a cooking and dining space and a cosy lounge area. The cooking space consists of a modern dining table with chairs and a generous kitchen unit with a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave with a baking function, toaster and fridge-freezer. The lounge area provides a modern and very comfortable sofa bed (130 x 190cm), armchairs and a TV with a DVBT antenna. There is also a usable fireplace (order firewood with your booking, or purchase it locally), perfect for cosy evenings during the cooler season. The bedroom has a double bed (180 x 190cm) and bedside tables, as well as a wardrobe. A single bed can be added for a fifth person. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and a washing machine. The apartment has radiators and the bathroom has a fan heater. There is no air conditioning, as the apartment is pleasantly cool even during the summer months, due to being situated in the basement. Fans are available. There is no Internet connection.

Cardedu has various shops, a cheese dairy and restaurants. It is at the foot of the Tacchi nature reserve in Ogliastra. Jerzu, the little town of Cannonau wine, and the Arbatax harbour, are just a 15-minute drive away. There are boats from there to the lovely bays on the Orosei gulf. You can enjoy various water sports activities by the beach at Cardedu, such as kite surfing or waterskiing. You can also go hiking, on cave explorations or go-carting.

The owners live in the same house. Rubbish is separated in Cardedu: the apartment has various bins for plastic, paper, glass, organic and general waste. The bags need to be disposed of in the respective containers at the end of the street.
