Review of an Experienced Traveller
Allow me to preface my remarks by telling you I've traveled to Cuba and many other poor countries many, many times. You need to "adjust" your expectations accordingly. So my comments are not necessarily uncommon nor unexpected. It will leave it to you determine if they might be critical to your stay. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and some spoke English. The room was cleaned daily to our satisfaction. The cook was excellent and breakfast included coffee, juice, fruit, one egg, and toasted buns. My room (unit C at the rear of the building) was not ready until 35 minutes after their 3 pm check-in time. The room was clean, air conditioned, and had a lot of hot water. The safe was not bolted to the wall and could easily have been removed from the room by anyone with ill intent. The hot and cold faucets were reversed. The door could only be locked from the inside with a key, considered a safety issue in many places. Summary: I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

Der Sevice der beiden Damen in der Unterkunft reichte von Beratungen und Informationen über das Waschen der Wäsche und Kochen. Leider war die Umgebung sehr laut durch die Hauptverkehrsstraße vor dem Haus und von der Bar und dem Hotel gegenüber von wo jeden Tag teilweise bereits ab Mittags laute Musik schallte. Die Musik war auch Abends bis spät in die Nacht an wodurch es unangenehm war. Die Zimmer sind für zwei Personen viel zu klein und die Montage der Klimaanlage im Zimmer war auch sehr ungünstig. Die Ausstattung der Küchenutensilien lässt teilweise zu wünschen übrig zB. sind die Töpfe sehr alt und die Henkel brechen ab was beim kochen von Wasser in diesen Töpfen auch ein Sicherheitsrisiko ist.

Rent och snyggt, mycket trevlig personal som var hjälpsamma, nära till stranden. Hade rummet närmast vägen så trafiken hördes lite. Ett boende som vi kan tänkas återvända till.

Séjour agréable dans cette casa. Le personnel est très sympatique, à l'écoute et nous a bien conseillé. On s'est senti comme à la maison. Hôtel bien situé (on a juste à traverser la rue et on est à la plage). Le point négatif est que le lit n'était pas confortable. Mais je recommande cette casa pour ceux qui n'aiment pas les très grands hôtels tout inclus remplis de touristes.
