Prepare tasty meals in the full kitchen complete with modern appliances and cookware as the rest of the gang kicks back in the living room to stream favorite movies and shows on the flatscreen TV. For those that want to indulge in a bit of friendly competition, a pool table is right off of the living room. Plus, everyone can stay connected with free WiFi available throughout the home. As an added bonus the entire home is fitted throughout with a water filtration system providing clean drinking water from every tap.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Fall getaway
We travelled from the Midwest hoping to enjoy sun and the beach. Sadly the marine layer/fog made that pretty much impossible. For what this home charges, you’d hope to get showers that drain properly, better than single ply toilet paper and watered down hand soap. I don’t think this was worth the money at all.

Paradise in Carlsbad
This property is very clean and is has easy access to the beaches, Carlsbad village and Legoland. The home is well appointed, and very comfortable, especially the backyard with the pool, hot tub, and fire pit areas. The outdoor area is the highlight of the home. It is awesome. Keep in mind the bedrooms are on the second floor, so there are steps to climb to access, nothing major though. Found no instructions on how and where to turn on the jets for the hot tub, also lacked kitchen staples (e.g. foil, plastic bags etc). However George, the property manager was quick to respond via text whenever we had questions about the house. His customer service was first rate. Great place to vacation

If we stayed again I wouldn’t bother paying the extra $100 a day for the pool to be heated. It was still very cold for an extra $500. Other than that, the house was great for our family. We would stay again, for sure.

Lovely property
The property was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a hiccup with the cleaning process and cleaners were still in the house 2 hours after our scheduled check in so we could not check in on time. It took until the next day to speak to someone local on the management team but they did offer apologies and an appropriate resolution to the situation. We would happily work with Vacasa/stay at this property again.

The pool and hot tub were a definite hit!
The location was perfect (five minute drive to town/beach) and the pool & hot tub were so amazing and a wonderful refuge to return to each day. The pool table and comfortable living space was perfect for our family with two teenagers. The only drawback was the kitchen. It’s in need of some tlc. It worked fine for us since we didn’t spend a ton of time there, but the smaller top oven on the stove didn’t work, the garbage disposal was broken and the freezer melted out on the floor some nights. There seemed to be enough dining ware and pots and pans, but there is no necessity items unless they were left behind from a past renter. Some tlc in the kitchen would make a huge difference. Be prepared for vague communication with the rental agency, Vacasa. I contacted them about the disposal and asked when we needed to put trash out, and we received the standard “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” email with no answers or direction, I’m glad we didn’t have any big issues! It would be helpful if there was a welcome letter upon arrival with all the info you need..trash days, where are the pool lights and hot tub switch, internet password etc, the pool cleaner and landscapers schedule…all things you can certainly figure out on your own, but little details can make a big difference on an otherwise amazing VRBO rental!

A Real Winner
Outdoor area, pool and spa were amazing. Pool temp was great, without having to heat. Fire pit was a perfect way to end the night. House was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with utensils, pans, dishes, etc. We ate in a lot to be able to enjoy backyard. 14 yr old & 5 yr old spent hours in the pool/spa. Quick access to Carlsbad Village & Beach. Highly recommend.

Fabulous House w/a Backyard Oasis
The house is great, but THAT BACKYARD!! We were out on the patio, in the pool or at the fire pit the entire time we were not out exploring San Diego. The only complaint I have is that the landscaping/ gardeners came early one morning and ran their chainsaw at 8am til late morning. That wasn't an ideal morning for people on vacation. I would definitely stay at this property again tho!

Great house. You feel like your on your own Isle :) Inside there is a great layout with lots of sitting areas plus a pool table. Outside has so many things to offer. There is the pool, hot tub, fire pit, many places to lounge or hang, and a large dining table under the string lights.

Perfect Getaway
The pictures do not do this home justice! Very nice and upgrades throughout the home. Great location, five minutes to beach and downtown Carlsbad. One note is that all bedrooms are on the second floor which may be a barrier for some. Overall great place for families, couples or friend groups looking for a resort style stay.

Great Home in a Quiet Neighborhood
Booked this property blindly with zero reviews, but it ended up being a great choice. Home was as pictured/described and was quite roomy. We were only 4 Adults in this large home, and I feel it could accommodate more with no issues. Pool/Hot Tub was a great to have. Parking Garage was also a plus for keeping our vehicle inside. Would book this home again in a heatbeat.

We Can't Wait To Go Back!!!!
We had such a wonderful stay at this well maintained and BEAUTIFUL property. Minutes from the beach, grocery, fun activities. The backyard exceeded our expectations and was comfortable, gorgeous and inviting. We stayed most of the time outdoors. Loved having a pool table in the house which added to the fun! The kitchen was nicely appointed. Our best experience to date with a rental house and we are already planning our next stay, but for much longer so we can enjoy being in Carlsbad and at this wonderful property. 5 stars in our book!!

My family enjoyed our stay - home was very clean in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Grocery was in close proximity and short drives from attractions like Legoland and the Zoo. The backyard is a beautiful oasis with plenty of seating and an awesome spa and pool. My kids enjoyed swimming every day and can't wait to come back. We marked this home as a favorite and we can't wait to come back.

Beach/Legoland Vacation
The house had a cozy Spanish design with all the amenities we needed. For a family of 5, we loved that we had a pool/spa and were only minutes from the Beach and Legoland. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. The pool light and spa light did not appear to be functional, otherwise the house was well kept up and had everything we needed for a week stay. Overall, we loved our stay.
