Winter Wonderland Getaway
We had an absolutely magical stay at this winter wonderland! The house is nestled in a stunning wooded property, offering the perfect setting for a cozy getaway. The highlight for us was the beautiful fireplace, which provided the perfect ambiance to relax by after a day of exploring the snowy surroundings. The warmth and charm of the space made it feel like a true retreat.The hosts were incredibly accommodating, especially when severe weather set in. They graciously allowed us to extend our stay for an extra day, ensuring we were safe and comfortable throughout the storm. We truly appreciated their hospitality and thoughtful care.This property is a perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind in nature, with all the comforts of home and the added bonus of a spectacular winter atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning!

home away from home
Coming from various parts of PA, we gathered here for a week of relaxation and family time. Not far from Lake Erie we spent some time on the beach, did some adventure finding on the wooded grounds, built fires in the evening for s'mores, and utilized the house for some family gambling. The Homestead perfectly met our needs and wants. Host Jackie greeted our little ones with a trip through her gardens, allowing us to keep the stash. Jackie was MOST accommodating and we are most appreciative. Thank you for sharing your Homestead with our family.

We had a great time at this house
We enjoyed everything about this house. It had everything we needed and there were no problems at all. It is centrally located to a lot of things to do on short drives, and they gave us helpful information to find them. Our friend made an asparagus fritatta with their garden gift and it was delicious. We even saw the Northern Lights from a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

We are a family of 5 (kids ages 12,9,&5), and this was our favorite rental we have ever stayed at. It felt just like home! It was spacious and clean, and the property is beautiful. So peaceful and relaxing. My favorite part was enjoying coffee on the porch while listening to the birds. The hosts had great communication. They were so kind and accommodating. By far our best experience with a rental…and we’ve stayed at a lot! We can’t wait to go back!

Eclipse weekend
Our journey to this location was to view the eclipse. The setting is a nice quiet rural location and since we are from a very rural area it was a perfect fit. Anyone wishing to get away for a nice relaxing time - it is highly recommended. There a plenty of small towns within a short drive for all your eating needs. The property was clean and well kept up and very spacious. Our host was great allowing us to check a little early which was very helpful. This was our first stay at a Vrbo and we are pleased with the experience. Having our family all at the same location was great.

We were there to visit family who lives close for Easter. Everything was great. The internet was difficult to use even for checking email, we also found a pile of dirt in one of the basement beds and a dirty diaper under one of the beds upstairs. But everything else was very clean and the property itself and house were beautiful.

Family Time
It is almost back to school time. And this home was everything we needed. It is located in a quite neighborhood with LOTS of wildlife- There is a doe and 2 fawns as well as hummingbirds, butterflies, robins- even a squirrel that runs under the huge oak. Plenty of yard space to toss football and play corn toss. For those who love to cook for the family....there is a great deck with table and chairs for everyone to watch you grill! The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to prepare the favorites. There isn't air conditioning...Because it is not needed. Ceiling fans and portable fans and open windows kept the living space very comfortable! Oh, and the beds - they provided the support needed for a very relaxing night sleep. There were no early risers on this vacation. If you looked at this property on Vrbo look no farther. This is the perfect home for YOUR vacation!

What a beautiful property---well maintained in and out---For our stay we had 5 adults--3 teenagers and two dogs-plenty of room ---Jackie is a wonderful host and answered all our questions through out our booking process-lots of fun on the property with outdoor games we brought along---plenty of seating for all--45 minutes from Erie (Splash lagoon and the Erie zoo for a day)--Hoping to book again next year-THANKS

We rented this property for our daughters wedding. We had a few family members stay with us. The house was comfortable and the perfect size with multiple bedrooms.
