The location is good for the centre of the city. The reception section of the hotel, is very characteristic building. Most the rooms are located in the annexed building behind he reception, which are secure and in keeping with the theme.
The rooms are however very small and "pokey", as you walk through the door it's difficult not to walk into the bed.
The has been decorated with a modern style, however now in need of a freshen up, as there are those unsightly marks on the walls and skirting boards. The bed, mattress and pillows were actually quite comfortable (seems to be a promotion with Kyriad at the moment), the bathroom isn't very inviting but actually the shower was powerful and did the job! Coffee and tea facilities are there, but at the bare minimum. I didn't take breakfast there, as I tend to find them over priced and disappointing, instead I had a delicious coffee and pain du chocolat in the bakers on the corner. One benefit is that the car parking albeit not secure is free until 9am in front of the hotel.
