Talo sijaitsee Hanian vanhassa venetsialaissatamassa, josta on upeat näkymät parvekkeelta, 20 metrin päässä vedestä ja 5 minuutin päässä kauppakeskuksesta. Alueelta löydät monia ravintoloita, tavernoja, baareja ja historiallisia kohteita. Siinä on oma pysäköintialue, vaikka autoa ei tarvita, vain jos haluat tutustua saareen.

Remontoitu ja täysin varustettu, josta on suora yhteys Hanian vanhaan venetsialaiseen satamaan. Maisonettessa on 3 makuuhuonetta ja 1 kylpyhuone 2. kerroksessa, 2 parivuode ja 1 2 erillistä vuodetta, ja siihen mahtuu 6 henkilöä ja tarvittaessa ylimääräinen henkilö sohvalla olohuoneessa. Kaikki makuuhuoneen kalusteet, patjat ja liinavaatteet ovat uusia. Kaikissa huoneissa on ilmastointi ja 32 "televisio. Näkymä vanhan sataman etuhuoneista ilahduttaa sinua.

Keittiö uusine sähkölaitteineen, oleskelutila ja pieni wc sijaitsevat ensimmäisessä kerroksessa parvekkeella, jonka avulla voit juoda kahviasi näkymistä kalastusveneisiin ja venetsialaiseen seinään. Talossa on ilmainen Wi-Fi ja yksi harvoista yksityisistä pysäköintialueista vanhassakaupungissa. Kuuluisa "Two Lux" -kahvila on aivan alapuolella, jotta voit nauttia kahvistasi aikaisin aamulla ja juomasi myöhään iltaan.

I cannot think if a single way in which Casa Ithomi can be improved upon. The accomodation is superb, not only luxurious and with every possible convenience but with added value by way of coffee, tea, basic food requirements, complimentary ice cream, shampoo, conditioner etc. Additionally Lia provides many additional services, including sending my walking stick on to our bext destination by bus, of her own volition, when I had left it behind! Her introduction to the apartment was the most comprehensive I have ever experienced. Certainly, there is noise from the cafes below but this is a price you pay for the position overlooking the harbour, which is a tourist hotspot. Nevertheless, with the windows closed and the AC on, you could as easily be in the countyside as far as interupted sleep goes.

Casa Ithomi: A Gem in Chania We had an amazing stay at Casa Ithomi! The home is beautiful and comfortable, with everything you could hope for. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old Venetian harbor, surrounded by charming shops and delicious restaurants. Lia, our host, was incredibly kind and gracious. She recommended the best local restaurants and excursions, and even had some snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The check-in process was smooth and easy, thanks to her warm hospitality. This location exceeded our expectations as did our super host, Lia. The apartment is extremely well appointed and situated just a few steps from the Old Harbor. We were fortunate to be there to celebrate the Greek Orthodox Easter. Our super host, Lia helped us with dinner suggestions, sight seeing, and just general knowledge of the area. I will return and stay here again!

Schöne Wohnung in hervorragender Lage mit Blick aufs Meer
Die renovierte Ferienwohnung befindet sich im zweiten Stock und dehnt sich über zwei Etagen aus. Im Erdgeschoss großzügiger Wohn/Essbereich, vollausgestattete Küche mit Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler, viel Geschirr und Gläser. Zwei Balkone, einer davon mit Blick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Im ersten Stock drei Schlafzimmer, zwei mit Schrank, eines ohne. Sehr bequeme Betten. Modernes Badezimmer mit barrierefreier Dusche. Lia ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin und war jederzeit erreichbar. Im Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes befindet sich ein angesagter Club, in dem am Wochenende bis spät nachts laute Musik gespielt wird. Die Wohnung befindet sich halt mitten in der sehr belebten Altstadt....

Great location, wonderful host
I just loved our stay in Chania. This home is wonderful. The apartment has all the amenities you could want. Lia is an amazing host who is available for all your questions and is extremely helpful. The terrace has a lovely view and I enjoyed sipping my coffee(provided by my host) overlooking the old port. Sunsets were amazing!!!! The fridge has basic necessities already stocked, the beds are comfortable and there was a small library. I really enjoyed reading 'It's All Greek to Me' during my stay. There are many terrific restaurants just below on street level, there is a great weekend food market just steps away and of course, loads of shopping. A huge plus was the free parking spot! I have just one word of warning: if you like to sleep with the windows open be prepared for a lot of noise. For me, I just closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner and it was completely quiet. Thank you Lia for a delightful holiday!

We had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately our trip was cut a few days short due to Coronavirus closing everything. The location is perfect just steps away from great restaurants. Home was everything promised. We stayed 3 weeks and did not have a car. Easy walk to downtown and old town. Lia was a wonderful host with quick response when we needed anything. Hoping to stay here again. Praying the Coronavirus gets under control and doesn’t leave this area and its businesses having huge issues. This was by far our favorite vacation destination ever!

This apartment was conveniently located in Old Town Chania. Lia was a phenomenal host! The apartment was clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. The amenities are top notch and everything that you would need for your stay was provided. I would highly recommend this listing to all family and friends and I look forward to staying there again!

Great place in the middle of Old Town
This apartment has been recently remodeled and is in a perfect location to explore Old Town Chania. What we liked most about it was the convenience to many of the best restaurants, a parking space (which is very hard to find) and a very good washing machine which is great if you’ve been on the road for awhile. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a fully stocked set of utensils, glasses, plates and pots and pans. We didn’t cook but it had everything if we wanted to. The downstairs rooms have openings that provide good airflow and there’s a small balcony over an active nightlife scene that’s great for a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the water. There are 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs along with the only full bathroom. The bathroom is totally updated and modern and the bedrooms all have new dual-panes windows. Being on a bar scene/cafe street I thought there might be a lot of noise at night, but we never experienced any during our stay though we did take the room away from the street. The greatest thing about this apartment is the property manager Lia. She absolutely does everything possible to make your stay memorable. She gave us specific instructions on how to find the place, allowed us to check-in early, met us on our schedule and provided a wonderful fruit basket upon arrival. She also helped us find a tour group out to Knossos Palace on the only open day we had available, and she allowed us to leave our bags for a late departure even with an incoming party that day. Little things like being able to check-in early or check out late are hugely helpful when you rent a place and are saddled with your luggage and Lia had no problem with satisfying these requests. We had a great time and would definitely rent this place again if we return to Chania.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa Ithomi in Chania. It was the perfect vantage point to enjoy the town on foot because we were right near everything. Our hostess was exceptionally gracious to us, meeting us at the apartment to orient us and give us useful information about groceries, places to visit, restaurants and cultural information. The apartment is of course in an older building so one must walk past the back side of a restaurant to approach the entrance and then walk up a flight of stairs to the apartment but it's worth it for the location and the quality of the space inside. The apartment has been beautifully kept and renovated: there are pretty built in wood furnishings throughout the living area, a spacious, very functional and well-equipped kitchen, and the bedrooms and bathrooms have been updated very attractively. All is very comfortable. We visited during a very hot time and the air conditioning works well. It was great to have a parking space too, which is unusual, as well as a washing machine for clothes. Many details were not left out when the apartment was renovated: there are plenty of places to store or hang your clothes, lay out your toiletries, and generally make yourself at home. We really enjoyed being there - thank you!
